5 man compositions

Hello,

To all who are currently botting with 5 characters, farming dungeons or doing mythic 5 mans - what are your thoughts on having the best composition? Right now I have a BM hunter, ret pally and a warrior tank. Planning to add a caster but ive heard that casters are generally too slow for full-afk CRs to do any good. Then have a druid or disc priest as heal. I'm planning to start a composition that will eventually have me go into mythic difficulty, and in prep for legion. What are everyones thoughts?

Hunter (DPS)

Make sure one of them is a leveled enchanter so you can D/E BoP

I was wondering, what damage is your mage or warlock doing in dungeons atm? My ret pally can burst up to 100k+ on single target and my hunter comes out on top when AOEing, i want a consistent 40-60k dps after reach 710+ gear at least.

The only reason i include casters is because i like to have some non-melee DPS. If you look at most simcraft at that iLvl Ret Pally is going to be up there but a bit short of a Fury Warrior and a Subtlety Rogue.

If i was basing it entirely on pure DPS, i would probably use my Rogue. Also, the lock is the enchanter in that group. I like to have an enchanter on most runs.
