5 accounts banned while using dungeonbuddy.

as someone said before me, you have been on a monitoring list.
honorbuddy is not detected in terms of warden, we have alot of clever guys at owned spending much time looking though warden every single day, ready to warn everyone
but do the math, it is quite easy to put you on a list, the first time you got banned. and when you buy a new set of accouts, well, it wont take more than 2 min for them to check that out.
and i gotta say, if you just know a bit about botting, you can detect someone using honorbuddy miles away, and especially in GBs/BG and such

Been using grind bot + bg buddy alterac valley mixed mode all day and yesterday as well, no problem whatsoever, so I highly doubt that HB is detected.

There are accounts which got first perm, then changed to 72hrs which got perm banned again without even being used again, so I'm not too sure about this "bullshit".

Blizzard does not 'monitor' PC's. They simply do not do that, I worked as a GM in Austin for three years, I know.

Case in point. Two of my three farm accounts got shut down today, appeal didnt work. If they monitored PC's, why didnt my third one get touched when it is running the same schedule/profile/ect?

Blizzards not out there scanning everyones PC to see if they cheat; we simply either got caught by a wave of bad luck, or they created a new way to catch us in the act. I assume the reason behind all of this will be found in the following weeks, and I hope its something as simple as plain bad luck.

Thanks.

In general ban nowadays, I guess you are right. But Blizzard sometimes focus on some known-by-them hardbotter and start monitoring PC's or LAN subnets, which he is using (still no idea what kind of criteria they use), and banning even just created accounts, which start to use any kind of automation.

Hi Guy's,
1. HB isn't detected
2. 5 Accs Dungeonbuddy method is safe ( Yes, I'm using it around 10 hours a day)
3. GM's aren't watching you as long you stay "normal", I chatted often with Gamemasters while botting never recived an Bann since Classic, and yes, I started with Glider (Botted over 1 year of Gametime on main Account.

It is just the question how you use the bot.

Kavlantis , correct me if im wrong , but havent you been banned alot these last weeks? And the bans before this one was not with Dungeonbuddy , correct?

So perhaps you were already flagged and thats how u got banned in like ~1 day using Dungeonbuddy?

Edit : Okay , now i read this aswell . http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/ban-section-ban-reports/116100-3-accounts-re-banned-less-30mins-bot-100-detactable-gets-auto-banned.html

Basicly Kavlantis had 3 accounts receiving a 72h suspension. As soon as the suspension was off , he logged back in and started botting right away , and got banned in 10 minutes.

Now , he buys 3 accounts and gets banned in 1 days while using a quite safe botting method.

Im sorry , but i don't see a HB-detection here , i see someone being flagged.

Yea, I am not talking about the 3 bans you mentioned.

I actually took the pc to a cousins house (different IP), format and installed fresh windows7, installed wow, created the 5 accounts there and run them there.
The only connection to me it was the PC hardware.
My cousin never played wow in his life and his ISP is not the same as mine.
You call that reckless?

I just edited first post to add this information since i didn't when i started the topic.

So either this means i got banned cause if my hardware IDs or they just detected the bot.

Whats your theory?

Were you playing all 5 accounts from a single computer? Were you using VMWare or any other software to hide the IPs of the five accounts? The facts of your case do not necessarily add up to HB detection. There are plenty of ways to detect botting without detecting the bot program.

Same pc, no hidding IP or anything. Thats why i moved the PC to a different IP/ISP.

I am running the same as the OP. Started a 5 Man RaF Group with HB 3 Days ago. All 5 new Accounts. Every Registration with a different IP but running all 5 Clients on the same IP. "/Played" 2 Days 12 Hours (They got stuck in a Dungeon about 10 Hours last night)...

They are now on LVL 80. Leveled everyday from 12pm till 3am.

Still no Ban. Hope it keeps like that.

There are numerous ways to get reported while running five accounts on dungeonbuddy. It does not mean that HB has necessarily been detected. Getting reported running five dungeon bots together usually involves the way the bot acts when a five man team goes to the same major city together. I will not list the bottish maneuvers publicly because I don't want to give any outsiders any clues, but former botters with an itch to report you can probably spot them. Other ways to get reported running a five man dungeon team involve the team automatically dropping a team member and picking up a stranger. I've seen this happen a few times even though it's not supposed to occur. It usually happens when one of the team members gets all bags full of greens, rares, and tailoring mats. The bot running that toon does not know how to deal with it or takes too long to mail everything and gets dropped by the team. Then, if you are not watching, you get a stranger in your team, and you get reported.

When your team was in between dungeons getting repairs, you could have unintentionally ignored and angered someone that asked to join your guild because they wanted to run dungeons with you. Perhaps he reported you on a fluke, and the GM accidentally found you botting. I've had numerous people ask to join my guild when they see a team together. If you don't respond to them, they may feel like you disrespected them. If you have an open guild, it's best to simply invite them. If you do not have an open guild, you better have a sensible reason for why your guild is closed to new members.

If you named all of your toons similar names, someone may have wondered how you were multiboxing so many different classes at the same time. Most multiboxers have a difficult time running more than two different classes at a time. The easiest legal multibox team is five members of the same class, such as five shamans or five mages. If you are going to name your whole team the same thing and use HB to run dungeons you should probably go with all druids to at least give the impression that you are using a legit program like pwnboxer or isboxer while you actually run a designated tank, healer, dps caster, and dps melee team on HB.

lol, u got no idea what u talking about.

2 druids 1 tank 1 healer, 1 mail class 1 cloth class 1 plate class
all toons are in different areas.
Trashcan addon used with custom settings to deal with the bag issue
No interaction with any players what so ever, i was monitoring them 100%, the time the run was so low that it wasnt hard to do it.
2 of the bots got insta invite in guild on log on. 1 other got invited a bit later, i said hi and thanks to gchat, no one replied to that, the other 2 with out guild invites at all.

I don't give a shit if blizzard can detect or not the honorbuddy.exe or memory or anything else from it. THEY CAN detect HB actions with in the game and that is enough for me to say that the bot is 100% detactable.
For the people that still bot and they say that is not correct, please keep doing it and don't fail to report your ban when you get it.

I got a new pc today (different hardware id), fresh windows, will put it on a new IP and gonna do a small test on a new payed account.
I ll report the results in a few.

I guess it worked because I don't see any report of the results. Evidently, you are still botting. :-)
