Exactly this and people will buy your mats faster.

Honestly it's only bad for people doing the shuffle and those are mostly human players anyways.
Generally a good change for bots.
 
Its great news for botters cause we will move to dead servers where no one wants to be and still make gold with a merge AH. Basically players will be "left alone" and botters dont have to be in a highly populated server to make a profit.
 
As people said, this probably won't affect prices that much.
However this will be a bitch to AH whores. Imagine getting undercut as soon as you post an auction, lol.
Not that AH bots already don't do that, but now it's going to be much worse.
 
Are you kidding? This is especially good for bots:

A human needs to camp the AH 24/7 to get stuff sold then, a bot can just undercut without your interaction.

Btw. it will probably raise demand exactly as it will increase supply, so in the end almost every realm will be like a high pop realm probably.
 
im excited, im trying to complete all the professions (learning all recipes possible) now i dont have to xfer toons to get the recipies over to my main server
 
I am a little confused. Will you be able to see other realm players in panda land? Like you would in the old classic wow areas? or will it still be a phased area where you will only see cross realmed guildies?

Because if its phased that'll be good but if you'll be cross realm areas bye bye herbs..

Sorry for asking a silly questioned I am just yet to find my answer to that. I prefer to herb/mine on a low populated server as less chance of being busted while doing it.. Only thing is I have to spread out my auctions threw a couple different toons as sweet f a happens on it. and dont want to have all 400 auctions on the 1 toon haha but this willbe good if its only the AH merged and we will still be phased to our own realms!

This is true, Blizzard is probably getting the ball rolling for their new MMO Titan. Not saying it will be released soon, but just seems they are laying the ground work now.
 
Most of you seem to think that there will be more demand than supply. But depending on how these virtual realms roll out, it will definitely mean more botters competing for the same number of resources. More people to see you botting and report you. Yes, demand MAY exceed supply. But supply can very easily exceed demand as people who post and undercut on the AH tend not to be the savviest people when it comes to economics.
 
This is a double-edged sword either way you look at it. If you're on a dead server, but farming constantly and posting to AH then you will hit the auction post trigger and get investigated or continuously get undercut then have no players to C.O.D. mail. If you're on a popular server then anyone who has botted for at least ten minutes understands the pros/cons already which combined realms really change that much due to this patch.

Seems like Blizzard is only reaching out to people who have their own interpretation of this feature made up in their mind when all it really does is find more botters easier, flag them, and give them the boot quicker. The trading aspect will be interesting. If you can send mail or trade without the auction house from a low population server to a medium, high, full, or locked then it might help out botters.

No one else will have to transfer to get recipes either. Never mind the ppl that will be coming that have them already. You will lose your @perk" overnight. Course instead of paying for a RL transfer omg what a pain? U coulda just farmed the ones u didn't have: I'm on the lowest pop server there is and after about 4 months I have the vast majority of mine. Mind u this was from the Ah.when I have time I will go search out the

sad part me and my bud`s were talking about this. due to the lack of players on other realms. where i just cam from to my new one. it`s like they are reading my mind

^^ Maybe they will put some AuctionHouses into a pool like they do for Dungeon-Browser/random-instance!?
 
Do you think this would mean that you could also join Guilds on other realms to your own?
 
First they pull you in with a discount on character services so you spend money thinking you can find fun in alts again...

then they slap you with this biatch. "Yea, you know that transfer you did? Well it's not needed anymore really, but thanks for your money anyway."

Bastards.

For botting purposes I only see benefits. More people to sell to means more turnover.
