5.1 Gathering revamp?

Hey guys,
Any of the profile makers going to revamp their versions for the new spawn timers? Currently I am getting about 5 stacks an hour so not the greatest.... I understand the nerf really changed mining but I am curious to see if anyone is working on anything or will we just deal with the changes.
 
Seems to be the same with Herbing aswell, 51 nodes in 51 minutes. That's in Kun Lai.

won't change a thing, spawn rates are lower. You'd need to make a profile that takes enough time to complete that the first nodes would be back when you finish it.

Well I would not mind making a profile, what language and how to go about creating it? I would appreciate the start up information. I do have familiarity with programming, currently going to school for it.
 
Open the file in Notepad++ or any text editor, it's just an XML file.
The language and syntax for the profile files is VERY easy to read and understand.
Profile writing with hotspots and blackpots is a bit of an art though, it takes time to get right.
Open the "Developer Tools" window in Honor Buddy to help you grab hotspots as you're flying around.
 
I wondered what was wrong with GB2 this morning, when i came back from farming over night and not having hardly anything compared to before.

Why did they ninja nerf the spawn timers ?

Guys. Use The multizone Alpha profile, it works greate for my monk.. :)

Ofc its a bug, and will get fixed soon everyone hope.

Its not a bug, its meant to be.
The quick respawn was intended for the major traffic that was going be on after launch of MOP
If you've witnessed any 5-6 weeks after previous expansions, you'd know they would do this.
Most profit is made in the first few weeks after an expansion. youtube is full of it ;)
 
Not a bug. They try to fight the bots but will end up pissing off those who doesn't bot and doesn't have the free time to keep farming with this spawn rate.

Official statement:

Mining and Herb spawn rates in Pandaria have been reduced by approximately 50% in patch 5.1, and this is indeed an intended change. These are in addition to the hotfix that was applied in 5.0.5 to lower the spawn rate of Ghost Iron.

In all of these cases, the reduction was prompted because the resources were too abundant, resulting in ore and herbs being undervalued, and also therefore the effort that our herbalists and miners put in to collect each node. We’ll be monitoring the situation, though, and should the current rates prove to be too low then we’ll make further adjustments as necessary.
