3/3 US Banned (Round 3): VM+VP* each, RND Delays, Norm Champ, <Day 1 Quick BAN

-> This is my 3rd round of bans.

-> Long story short: 3x Level 1 Barbs join Main Account char. Main Account char power-quested (Less than 4 hrs) them from Act 1 to 4. Didn't skip areas, quests or boss. Barbs reached Level 12 at the end. Then sent them off to bot "Radonic [A1 - Inferno]Champion-Hunting 1.9.1 One" by setting it to do Normal diff.

-> These 3 accounts are US CD-Keys (Physical box purchased from the same shop, too lazy to go different stores).

-> Each account is created/registered/run from a different VM using a different US State IP. IPs are dynamic at the final octet.(no control over IP change)

-> And Yes, I changed the IPs to 3x different US States/Cities.

-> VMs were freshly created from scratch (not the same ones from Round 2) and Diablo 3 installed (not copied over)

-> I have taken careful precautions that in the event that the VP* disconnects, each bot will have its Internet connection disabled, so that it won't rollback onto the local Non-VP* IP.

-> No public games joined, no public chat channel joined, no quests skipped, progress until end of Act 4 Normal

-> These 3 accounts had >500 achievement points

-> These 3 accounts only started botting at Level 12 10+ hours ago

1)Were you using DemonBuddy on the account at the same time the ban/suspension occurred? (Kicked offline due to being Banned)

-> Yes, I know that it's for Inferno, but you can set it to do Normal!

Default Belphegor, using Barbs

5.5) Reloggers?
Each Bot/VM using a different one (because I won't know which developer is going to quit):
Teivovo's DB_Run
AGB Relog
Gawdz's DBRelogger

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:
Banned after 6hrs of runtime including breaktime. Depending on which relogger. Randomized 30min to 1hr profile runtime + 30min to 1hr breaktime.
Could have been banned in less than 6hrs but very sure that the ban happened during profile run.

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?
5min? before I went afk for 6 hours. When I returned, the bots were stucked at the screen with the Ban Error Msg.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?:

7.5) Did you use the Real Money Auction House (RMAH)?

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, Mods, or Exploits?

9)Was your account involved in gold selling?
no

10)What server region where you connected to (The Americas, Europe or Asia)?

Yes, each on different VM and VP*.

12) Other details and speculations?
I set it to only loot gold. So it shouldn't get caught in instant vendoring/salvaging.
Main account obviously came into direct contact with the 3x Barb accounts, which was different from last time.
Last time was

Main -> passes gear to Non-botted trade account. Non-botted trade account passes gear to Bot account.
Trade account doesn't come into contact with public players and doesn't sell gold.
Trade account has a Level 10 char that killed Skeleton King.

So now it's 3(from yesterday) + 3(from today) = 6 accounts banned in just 2 days. GG there goes my remaining funding.

hmm, i'm pretty sure your VP* caused the ban, since everything else seems clean enough. it could be that you are using the same VP* provider as the farmers and somehow it is detectable by blizzard which lead to an automaticly flag.

meph just declare your main dead. I didn't bot on my last computer, because I had a bad feeling about not being able to reset every data so I waited for my new computer... then I felt the same way about my main account, but I have to say if they had actually looked into my main manually they should have noticed how 90% of my friendlist are customers as we discuss trades prices and more.

That being said I felt bad about getting that possibly flagged main account into contact with my new bots and I will probably pay the price, which is okay. I will never do it again every set of bots gets a new main for them.

I think VM or VP* won't help you if you don't change/delete your unique client ID. Blizzard knows that it's the same PC.

ObscuR's "Starting Diablo with Style and with unique client ID" won't work until I get a New Main Account.

Blizzard definitely keeps an entire history of "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Identity" for the same Main Account.

No matter how you regen the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Identity", unless I get a new hand-leveled Level 60 Main.

Getting a new Main is one problem, getting another Paypal account is an impossible task.

I think that ID is about your PC. as it says :

1: Change all your HHD drives volume ID with VolumeID
2: Change your mac addresses Change Your MAC address in Windows 7 - YouTube
3: Lunch sysprep from \Windows\System32\sysprep.
Select OOBE Out-Of-Box and check the generate check box.
Press Ok . you computer should restart as a new install your it should generate a new windows ID.

if you do all these above, u should see a new ID there. oh btw, sysprep does not work for me, i just reinstalled my windows.

Thanks for going through all the trouble to quote ObscuR's tech advice but do take his advice with a pinch of salt.

Warning: Running sysprep can BRICK your Windows installation permanently with no way to reverse the damage, other than a clean installation!

This actually happened to me, as I was in an endless loop of "configuring -> cant get files, restarting-> repeat.
I somehow broke it by booting up in safe mode, which failed, then back to normal, turned off system for 10 mins, tried again and voila. Dont ask me why it worked.

So in the end, I had to reinstall all my Windows + apps after the 1st round of banwave (caused by Sark). So everything was new for 2nd round (Act1 Champion Farm). Now it's the 3rd round.

There's only one way not to get banned
-> That is not to get banned in the 1st place. Because once you do get banned, future bans come faster and quicker because your Main account + Paypal account becomes flagged and "dirty"

I have this theory and it goes like this... I think that it may be possible that the more you go out of your way to hide, the more you are vulnerable to being discovered. There are obvious exclusions to this such as avoiding repetitious behavior and logging normal human hours instead of round the clock single profile farming, but something tells me a software company probably has a pretty good solution for people thinking they are clever by using masking methods. I think that's what gets people caught because I think it's probably something they specifically look for, much like your hours played, and is every bit of damning as that evidence.

My take on it is simple: If you bot you're going to be banned. Not if, but when. Make it as simple and pain free for yourself as you can so that restarting doesn't feel like a chore as much as it just feels like the first step of getting money. In both WoW and D3 it seems like your "behavior" is what gets you caught, not your set up. Players report you in WoW, and your game statistics betray you in D3. Go the no-headache route next time, imo.

i dont know if it gonna work , but you can add new email to paypal and make it main email , and then use it for the new acc

I won't be. Last ban wave I had 4/6 banned all 6 on the same PC and IP. Its complete theory that they even ban on IP or hardware ID.
