3/3 Banned

Three accounts banned simultaneously while watching netflix.

1 account ran dried lake for about 2 months straight after 2.0 7-9 hrs and pre 2.0 ran maps 8-13 hrs
1 account ran only maps for about 8-13hrs +/-
1 account no botting, but did RMT. About 7-9~ RMT transcriptions on that account over the pass year and a half.

All trades between characters and accounts were done through guild stash. All accounts had shops. I've spent at least 30 minutes to an hour~ spamming trade chat everyday. Ran two different builds: incinerate and tornado shot. All accounts used the same IP and are in the same guild. Did not use a VPN or a VM. Ran two clients on a desktop.


I'm pretty sure I got banned due to RMT and not botting. They probably traced the RMT account to my other characters.
I'll be back once the new league starts.

Lasted 13 months. Made more money than I thought I would.

Well it's most likely linked because you were not using different IPs and RMT. Pretty standard ban. Hope you get back in track really soon !

Obviously they were linked cause of IPs. Dont know if the ban reason was Dried Lake farming or RMT tho. Cant really say one for sure Id say

Don't look further.

I did few tests to see if what was said is actually accurate and from my personnal experience, running 2 bot on the same desktop is extremly risky. Last time i tried it they lasted less than a week.

All others bots didnt get a ban and few of them were running with the same IP.


I try to follow these simple rules :
- 1 VM per bot
- Max 3 bot per WAN ip
- Botting under 13h / days per account. (I never tried to run bot 24/7)

For the moment none of the bots following these rules got ban.

PS : I forgot to said that i RMT on almost all accounts without consequences so far and all my bots are using the same build.

I'm new to botting, so I'd like to know, why run your bot on a VM? It's pretty easy to change MAC address, but the performance hit from running a VM is a killer.

The performance hit is not that bad. I'm not an expert but i managed to have a "correct" ram / CPU ratio per VM and i'm pretty sure there's room for improvement.

But if you can run 5+ (or way more depending on your PC) bots on your computer while staying relatively safe from a ban without using VMs, i'm listening
