.26 with PushBullet notifications patch

Hi,

My first post here. I just started using the bot yesterday. :p

If someone is interested, I've patched the 1.8.26 version to support Pushbullet notifications.
It can push to your phone and browser, and it's a free service.

Here are the files, just copy them over the original 1.8.26 ones and (re)start demonbuddy.
Afterwards you just have to provide your Pushbullet API key, like for other notifiers (Pushover doesn't work anymore by the way, I tested the code ;))

By the way, how can I commit the code to merge with the main branch?

It should work fine with .28. Those files weren't changed since .26.

Pushover notifications currently don't work because of an invalid application key.
If you really want Pushover though, instead of Pushbullet, I can guide you through the steps to make it work. Be aware that you have a 7500 messages per month per application limit with Pushover though.

Please let me know if you run into any problems. I haven't had any so far. :)

This is the next thing I'm looking to setup. I need a system in place to txt me when one of my bots gets specific items. Basically I'm trying to juggle set pieces among party members and really am getting tired of checking in on them every 2 hours when I'm around a computer.

Do you think this is possible?


Edit: Set pieces and other specific legendaries. No point in a barb having 3 wind furies when his other 2 buddies could have one each :)
 
If you find a free online texting service, I might be able to implement it. But I have to see the technical details of the service first.

Hello Biachpt

Pushbullet worked great the first time i installed it but when i close and reopen db, pushbullet doesn't work anymore - it doesn't push notifications to my phone.
I find the only way I can get it to work again is to deselect pushbullet in trinity and close db and then reopen db and reselect pushbullet.

Is there an easier way to keep push bullet active between opening and closing the db app?

Hi, thanks :)

I had the same problem where Demonbuddy didn't save some of my settings after it automatically updated.
I solved it by deleting everything inside the "Settings" folder.

WARNING: If you do this make a backup first ;)

Hi all, can I confirm that pushover is no longer working? The last time I received a message was yesterday; it's no longer working after I updated Trinity to the latest version. Thanks!

Pushover or Pushbullet? I tried pushover and it never worked
 
I am referring to Pushover. It was still working yesterday, now it doesn't even though I replaced the token.
