I, along with many friends, are constantly banned using legit hb as well. There is clearly something wrong, it's just a matter of how long till someone admits it and deals with it. The amount of bans are staggering, just so very few post it on these threads. I know and work with TONS of botters, and the last month or so has been a nightmare. Also, for those who don't use the legit hb, as I'm sure you know. It's still your hb exactly, their download link is even to yours, it just uses an application to break your key checking system. I reiterate, I use legit hb, but to say hacked hb is getting ppl banned is a troll out.

but hey, that's what you do you break one's company rules (blizzard) and if somebody breaks yours you troll!

A lot of users got a ban lately using a *****ed copy of HB which is not secure. Users using a *****ed copy deserve their account being banned

Who wouldnt't say this about his own Product?

A different Autenthication Server doesn't change much at all.

The paranoia in this thread is utterly retarded. Working in IT I can say that there is no way in hell they could scan everyone at the same time looking for botters. There's no way. They'd have to have a second set of servers to monitor it all (for starters). I don't see them shelling out that kind of cash for the servers or the bandwidth. It would cut way too deep into their profit.

People are getting caught using well known farm routes &/or getting reported by other players seeing them do stupid shit (like getting caught on the same tree a dozen times or farming an ore node and then not loot it). Once they're reported, the GM's will then spot check the player (using various methods) to see if they are actually botting/hacking. Period. The end.

Use some damn common sense, it goes a hell of a long way. If you do stupid things - you're going to get caught. Plain and simple.
