What do you guys think? Is it a ban hammer incoming right now as we speak? :confused:

I had 1 account and that got banned, didn't bot for the last 30 hours
 
I would say YES!!! And judging by how long the update was taking, it is obvious that something was going on since it wasn't a quick fix like the other updates. Everyone experienced the same thing. We were all online playing, got logged off, and got the banhammer message, with no email being sent as of yet. I'm not sure when the actual detection happened, but it is quite obvious that it was a detection as opposed to in-game player reports. 24 hour suspension seems like it would be nice right about now...
 
Pretty obvious. Wasn't reported, never botted AFK, two accounts, always responding to tells, helping people around me. It was detection, sheer detection.

so what's the news on other bot programs? like riftminion? has anyone checked their forums

That would be nice to have a mod or admin to reply.. They seem to be like hiding..
 
It's definitely detection. I botted literally 5 minutes two days ago, and while I was watching it. Account is banned also.
 
Just tried to log in on both my accounts: "Your account has been suspended or banned. Please check your registered email for a message regarding this action, or contact customer support at [email protected] (error#2003)"

Neither accounts email address has received an email.
 
Wow I bought this bot yesterday. I have one character went from 16-22 and I got banned with everyone else. First time playing rift and using this bot banned within 24 hours. Thanks ryftomate. I only botted for a few hours as well. This sucks epicly detectable

Someone correct me if I am wrong but the key difference is Riftminion uses actual keystrokes. This bot messes with the memory. If you recall, shadow drivers, random exe names, reading memory and using actual keystrokes to respond is what WoWGlider so undetectable. If ryftomate were to use keystrokes the only way to detect would be have a GM physically check on the person botting and note they were not responding.

I really do like Ryftomate's extending profiles though. It was damned sweet!
