A friend of mine decided to put two D3 bots on same new PC and within a couple weeks one of them was banned.
These where HC bots so he was watching them for the most part, and he could not understand what his one account that was banned did that was any different from the other.
During D3 Vanilla I botted 3 at a time on one pc, but those where different times.
Two bots on one pc shows on server log there are two accounts on same IP: port.
I have run 3 bots at same time on different PC's with same IP....But because they have different ports...they don't throw the flag.
Maybe I 'm just lucky so far.
Bottom Line: I would never run two bots on same IP: port.
Multiple account on same ip/ports is very possible and should not get you flagged. Think of universities, brothers playing on their home, cybercafé etc, etc...
Although playing multiple bots on same PC (so same MAC address) isn't a good idea yes =)
AFAIK SimpleFollow only works if all instances are run on the same PC so someone who has used that alot should be able to shed some light on if it increases ban risk or not.
