I have 2 accounts and if I use 1 just for botting and it happens to get banned will my main one be affected too by it?

Thanks,

Silentrath

I have had 5 accounts banned permanently for use with the bot. My main account was not touched, except that it got a 24hr one which is funny since i just attached it to see if it would work. didnt even have it on for 1 min. I have taken several precautions to prevent issues. I have a downloaded game file for my main and a second one for my bots. When i play my main i open that one and switch for botting. sucks to have to update both of them but its comforting. I have other issues that do when botting to protect my main, but i dont want to sorta give a heads up on it.

So with botting on my bot account, do you think it will get caught or should I just wait a bit before botting?

I, just like Glendrum, have gotten 5 accounts banned. My main account has never been banned/suspended, and I have never logged into the bot on my main account.

The devs seem to now have a good grasp on Trion's detection schemes, whereas before the previous 2 banwaves, they did not. There has been a lot of news about Trion's anti-cheat schemes recently, which is good for bot developers. If the devs continue to stay on top of detection schemes and Trion doesn't make major changes to their detection, we should be good to bot. The game is new though and hasn't had the years and years of reverse engineering that games like wow has, so it's always possible that something could be slipped in somewhere that noone has found yet.

The golden rule of botting always has been and always will be:

If you're afraid of losing your account, don't bot.

just 1. Trion doesn't care what folder your game is installed to, nor the location on your pc that the game is launched from. They scan the processes that are running when you have the game open, not the folder the game is installed to. I keep my ryftomate installed in a separate folder than my game folder (of course).
