2 Accounts Banned

I have the same email from blizzard for both account.

Both accounts were reactivated about 1-2 weeks ago because I hadn't played in about 6 months.
Both accounts were played on the same IP however not always on the same computer, I ran Account 1 on my laptop a lot and usually played Account 2 on my desktop.

Account 1 was my main botting account. I ran gatherbuddy every day for only about 1 week, I just got a character to level 90 about a week ago, although I have had the account for almost 1 year.

I did some botting on Account 2 but very little. And mostly only before I got Account 1 to level 90.

Autobanned, definitely - you did single session 3 hours on Acc 2 or? On Acc 1 these 10hours daily is way too much for the current blizz radar, im afraid

I did a few short sessions on Account 2 in the last few weeks. I didn't think 10 hours would be a problem since I monitored it 85% if the time.

I appealed both accounts.
Account 1 has been reduced to 72 hour ban.

Gatherbuddy has been a guaranteed ban for many many months now. Obviously bosslands refuses to acknowledge this, and it's not that easy for new botters to figure it out from the forums, so the bans continue.

I just sent the appeal and asked if it had anything to do with all the emails about suspicious activity I've received lately.
I actually have gotten 3-5 emails from blizzard in the last 2-3 months about suspicious activity.

6 months ago I used to use Gatherbuddy / Dungeonbuddy / Honorbuddy (questing, BG's) for 8+ hours a night, 7 days a week, on both accounts and never had anything happen.

Its like kitchen knife manifacturer to be claimed guilty for the children, playing with the knife! No, its parents fault!

GB2 is safe enough, if you LEARN to bot safely.

If nooone have already noticed here, Blizzard have rised the radar since several months, and DO NOT TOLERATE gathering herbs/ores in the mop zones for longer than 6+ hours daily!
No difference if you do it with bot, by hand, or hiring the babysitter for that!

There were enough reports in this subforum regarding the above, including several reports from people, manually gathered herbs/ores for 6+ hours daily, and got autosuspended for it. One was even adviced to not farm mats too much, to not be autobanned again.

I'm sure imtakinusrs is correct.

However, anyone could tell a gatherbuddy bot if they saw one. It has a very unique, not very human like type of movement.
