2.41 Botting...

Preface: PTR is still loooong away from release... I realize this. I am just a bit tired of using LoN crusader because all classes fall about 50b/hour short...

Topic: Any thoughts on what might be the best botting class after 2.41? I cant imagine anything being better than LoN because of the mechanics of the build but I'm a Wizard at heart.
Archon just got nerfed to oblivion in the PTR but i was pretty excited there for a second. Do you all have any thoughts on what might be the new 'LoN Sader...' in 2.41? Spazzing out until Physical cycle rolls around is just... boring.

No... archon didn't. People don't understand it was needed to stop wizard from doing 107+ solo. 300% to 30% on archon form only dropped it ~7 GRs. 7.16 GRs in terms of sheet potential. Archon Wiz is still the highest clear potential atm on PTR.

LoN Crusader gets buffed a bit due to the new multiplicative damage...

now you have your base damage from the LoN set and the ancients and it will be multiplicated with the 35% from akarats champion skill plus the 20% damage from the gem so basically if you are doing like for example

200 dmg now it will then be

200 * 1.35 * 1.20 = 324 dmg

so the LoN crusader / wd get buffed passively and will surely be strong as well... beside that the oculus ring can procc off your own kills now if equipped to your templar. so this will be another up to 100% dmg buff then if you stand in the circle when you snapshot your bombardement so LoN will do well too in 2.4.1 i guess. but in the end we have to see what will be best for paragonpushing when it goes live...

LoN Crusader really won't be able to use the Oculus circle since half its damage comes from horse and the circle only spawns after you kill something and only lasts like 8-10 seconds so it wouldn't stay for next ring.

Also idk where you get that 20% from. Powerful? If so you really don't use that unless you are doing stupid easy like 5m rifts. Esoteric/Stricken(depending how high you push the bot) is better for the higher pushes anyway.

Not sure for botting but invoker or the Invoker 2 + Ahkan 6 with hack might actually be good. They are clearing higher than LoN is on Live with less gear and less paragon and less gem levels on PTR before Akarat went multiplicative. Though for speed stuff LoN would win. These would be better for pushing since its tankier and doesn't really require the bot to do anything but melee the shit out of packs.

FB Archon is going to be very strong after checking into it. Trinity may have trouble with the mechanics though if its checking for Vyr 6 to enable the Archon routine. DH M4/S2 could be a strong one as the damage is there as well as damage reduction (finally) and it takes full advantage of the revamped legendary gems. Invoker Akahn looks hopeful too! I'm ready.

M4/S2 is not a real set. Blizzard even posted saying once again(like last PTR) it will not actually work like that. The 2 set from Shadow will not effect pets/sentries/etc. Its only your damage. Which makes M6 better than M4/S2 people just play stupid shit on PTR because they can.

Most likely pure invoker is gonna be stronger than Invoker + Ahkan set.

Firebirds/Chantodo hopefully will work with the bot. I mean it literally uses the same skills as Vyrs. So they just need to code the playstyle off Chantodo no Vyrs since Vyrs doesn't actually do anything to how you play. Its just more ias/ar/armor and getting stacks when you attack and getting all runes. So they really need to not code it based on Vyrs because it would make 0 sense. And seeing as Chantodo is the only thing that really is archon and has 0 use outside archon setups it basically has to be coded off using those.

Actually, I wonder about Dart Witch Doctors in the new patch. The damage they can stack multiplicatively is rather impressive (Enforcer + simplicity + trapped = wow). On top of this, depth diggers will be multiplicative. And then you have all of the + skills on top of a furnace in cube.

Dart WDs might be the best single target in the game in this patch, no?

Its not that simple. Its not that big. Its more Simplicity is now Multiplicative with Depth Diggers and other % skill dmg thats it. Otherwise it isn't changing. Same with Enforcer. Single target won't matter. Firebird Wiz will destroy it.

2k% + 40% x X whites + 30% + X trapped level + 300% all buffing a 7k% pulsing 20 yard aoe more than half the rift. Also all those numbers are pure multipliers as well really doesn't get better than that.

Crusader and Wiz are still gonna be the top solo clear it seems. Sader is actually favoring towards invoker set now. That set has alrdy done 96 on PTR with very low paragon and only 100 gems. Imagine if he was 2500+ and 120 gems. Easily do 100.

Wiz is in the same boat its just Archon + Firebirds + Chantodo now. Cleared 98 on PTR after all the nerfs with 100 gems and like 2100 paragon.

WD will maybe have another set beat LoN. Hard to say not enough people tried on PTR yet.

Uliana monk can do like 92+ the generator build might clear higher hard to say though.

DH its hard to say. M6 vs LoN FoK. LoN will prob win since it went from 100% to 200% per stack on fan. Now it can use it every single Lightning and do the same damage as every 2nd. Thats massive increase. I can see LoN DH doing like 97+ once real people who have played it use it.

Barb seems to be leaning toward R6/IK4 instead of the other way around and actually using Boulder Toss bracers. Shit hits for a literally truck now. 750% x5 + the bracers. Charge is less of your damage and you can't force move it anymore anyway. So you have 0 reason to run Ik 6 with raekor 4 because charge is a lot less and focusing more of the damage to boulder toss. Though they probably won't really clear much higher than live is atm.

If you are botting 4 man you will want Wiz, Monk, WD and X(barb, sader, or DH support probably)... maybe a dps but for botting a third support might still be better.

I'm not running 4-man, should I be rolling Wizard ones again? Or should I give Crusader a try? What would be the best option to roll as a botter, as I won't (probably) play by-hand anyway. Just plain EXP-farmage/GR-pushage for that Epeen.

If you solo bot and don't want to play wizard go Sader. I actually just took another look. Sader did 100 with Invoker lol. For botting you would want to run LoN as soon as you could for most of it. Its possible with the right invoker gear you could actually bot that better than LoN.

How is LoN build botting wise? does DB handles it pretty well? Well enough to push that GR.

I've done 86 with the bot(not a super high complete chance but ya).

I had 100% complete on 82s though. 86 was for leveling gems before I moved on to 4 man botting.

No there wont? I guess you don't realize blizz posted saying they are done with changes unless someone finds something obviously broken overpowered that hasn't been already found.

PTR is basically in fix bugs state the changes are done.

Yeah it seems like invoker Sader is going to rule the playing field. FB Archon requires a ton of mob collecting to be really efficient and I can also see some survival issues in the 90's. Oh well, more Sader for 2.41.

Prob the same 3 atm mainly because you will be limited more by living than output for bots in 4 man. Otherwise you could try to drop barb for DH for more damage. Really depends how it plays how. I've seen WD/DH/Barb instead of monk for max dmg but that will prob be real play only comp.

I was wondering if we will play the same meta next season, has i don't really see how the bot will handle the DH build
