As much as I am sad to see this account go, I did fortunately create a new main a week prior to ban, which I transferred all my gold/gear to a few days ago. I was afk when the ban occurred, thus I have no idea what could have triggered this ban. However, it was only running for about 30 mins at the time of ban. I had about 200m and over 500 hrs of play time on the account, and about 200 of those hours were legitimate playing. I'd also like to mention that I had about 20 friends on this account, almost all personal friends of which I would not expect to flag me. I did plan to clear this out by transferring my friends list to my new main but did not have the proper time to do so. As for the other 2 accounts (1 monk(>100mil pickup), 1 barb(150 mil pickup)), they were still running inrego's sarkoth farmer for 1-2 hours since the ban and have not been banned themselves...YET. I immediately closed the two game clients and transferred everything of value to my main. If any other bans come up, I will update this post.

EDIT (1): I received an e-mail from Blizzard notifying me of the account taken against my account. I don't feel the need to paste it in as I'm sure you all have seen it plenty of times.

EDIT (2): Within 12 hours of original ban, my 2nd account (barb with ~150m pickup) was banned. I would also like to mention that this all occurred on the same day I removed my authenticator/switched my paypal credentials over to my new main. Ironically, the e-mail address for the paypal was the same as the e-mail for the barb account. I did however change this before the first ban.

EDIT(3): It has been 24hrs and my monk account has not been banned. As mentioned above, I had less than 100mil pickup on this specific account, and I was running two other accounts at the time of the initial ban. ONLY the barb was banned, and it had a little over 150mil pickup on it. I don't mean to come to such quick conclusions like some of the various threads/posts I see on this forum, but could this mean that "The One Percent" achievement in fact does have an impact on being banned?? Anyone want to confirm/deny this hypothesis? Keep in mind that had 3 accounts all on the SAME MAC address, IP address, etc. I do understand that people have been banned even leveling their accounts, but I find it so intriguingly odd that my monk account is still active. Again, I will update if the banhammer comes down on my monk.

Odd both my barbs were banned with over 150m, one left standing has 139m total

One of the two accounts I lost only had about 60 million gold looted. The other one, however, was pushing 170.

Got banned, never used AGB or Sakro, only collected 12 Mio Gold. So you're completly wrong!

it can't be the gold pickup. people had trial accounts banned, which mostlikely didnt have more than 200k on them :)

I am aware of this, but there's still something to be said for my case. The ban occurred the same day I removed my authenticator and my paypal account from the DH bot. The 2nd account that was banned had the same e-mail as this paypal account before I changed the account credentials yesterday. Of course making an association here would be pure speculation, however it's hard to get over the fact only 2/3 were banned. My 3rd account has survived more than 36 hrs since ban ^^

I think it is just the luck of the draw. I do not think there is anything that makes you get caught. There are people on here who bot 24/7 and have not been banned. Others bot for an hour and get smacked. I bot for like 12 a day, and then at times take a 2 day break. Then I'm back at it. I don't use AGB, and I only farm sarth. I have 1 account, 1 bot. but I have hand raised and play all of my other 60's. I think a GM just sits at a computer looks at who is in a game and picks a name to look at. There have to be thousands of games for them to review. If they get a hit on you, then they go balls deep in research. If you look legit they move on.

I also lightly bot on Wow to grind for mounts and pets, never mats or anything to be called to abuse the AH. I bot for fun, not for profit, which is why I don't think I have been banned. I like to think that if a GM looks over my account and they see I really do play the game and only bot to to better my toon lightly and not make money.

I really think the RMAH and the normal AH will be the downfall of this game.

So don't be sure about this mate ;] I was using a bot for only one acc for the same think - to make my toon better not for money. And what? My acc have been banned yesterday. Also i send email to blizz about that and they not gonna unban my acc. Diablo 3 is a shit game anyway. I have done what i want. Kill diablo on inferno and that's it. I'm not gonna buy another acc couz i still want to bot but if i can't even for only one acc to have fun then f*ck them ;] Just waste my money on this game. I think d2 was much better.
Ps. I'm not crying on this ban :) Just want to share with my opinion about d3 :)

I agree, if I do get banned on D3 I won't cry. The game a so many flaws, I don't see how the gaming community gives this such hi reviews. I'll play until I can kill D on inferno, but at this rate and how crazy hard it is to get gear and the AH so silly it may be awhile.

I got both my accounts banned at the same time. Same IP, different computers. One of them was a pure botting-account with 500 GPH over 400 hours played. The second, however, was my main account. This is a CE account with Diablo killed on inferno, and almost 3000 achievement points. It had less than 25 million gold picked up. This account was botted for under 20 hours with magic find gear doing sarkoth runs.

Hard to say what causes the bans, I had no problems with either of the bots and never got stuck in-game or anything like that. I used the main account as a mule, but I still got the "third party software" mail. I think they first and foremost look at gold collected or total GPH in some way or other, then look into other accounts on the same IP. Couldn't say for sure though, but I'm hoping that I'll know more once I get a reply to my ban appeal.

Not really sad to lose my accounts, it's not like I was going to actually *play* Diablo anymore, but I want to bot some more :)
