2.1 Tomorrow? Has DB been worked on in PTR?

I still expect DB to possibly not work or at least not properly the first day or 2.
but the longest wait will be for new profiles to be written for the greater rifts etc.

Also @ Mrbubble, or anyone who does profiles here. any tutorial with enough detail to get someone started at making profiles?
I would like to start learning and try to contribute to the community.

profiles for greater rifts are the same as for rifts. only the gem/keystone upgrading will need to be added.
writing profiles is easy if you understand a little bit of programming. just look at the work of others to get started.

DB should be working fairly soon after 2.1 is up but still need a lot of stuff to be created. No way to manage new gem upgrades. Someone will most likely have to write a plugin for it. Need to get Actorsno and Marker Hash's for the goblin realm. Lots of little things that need to be tweaked.

Just be patient guys, they will get the new versions out when they are happy with it. Better for them to take some time getting it right.
