2.1 Tomorrow? Has DB been worked on in PTR?

Probably shouldn't bot after it launches anyway, at least for a month or two. After its launch blizz might heavily survey the accounts that are flagged or are suspicious to see if they are testing out any new or updated forms of automation for your character.

Will profiles etc change or largely just the same areas only with greater rifts now a possibility?

only rift/grift opening and gem/keystone upgrading are new. everything else should work as it did before.
nesox posted that opening of rifts is already working few weeks ago though.

time to take the tinfoil hats out for real this time.
 
I still expect DB to possibly not work or at least not properly the first day or 2.
but the longest wait will be for new profiles to be written for the greater rifts etc.

Also @ Mrbubble, or anyone who does profiles here. any tutorial with enough detail to get someone started at making profiles?
I would like to start learning and try to contribute to the community.
