1H + Shield Barbs: Going Above 34% Block Rate is Bad for DPS and Survival?

- With each of the following slot (Helm, Left-Ring, Right-Ring) dedicated to raising Block Rate, I'm roughly losing 5k to 15k dps per slot.

- Also the main killers, Molten, Arcane, Desecrator, Plagued cannot be blocked.

Buy a 1h-Magda with a socket and put in a Fiery Subtle Essence. Should raise your DPS by approx. 52.7382k. They are quite expensive to get though because of inflation and people regearing. That way you can keep your helm and both your rings AND have higher dps.

Also I believe you don't have enough armor to defend against Molten Demonic Tremors. Because they are molten, it increases their overall dps by approx. 124.339. Not only that, but molten decreases the EDA (Expected Delivery of Attack) by 1.288 on large scale mobs (eg. Demonic Tremors); and this is a huge problem especially with your armor.

With the lower EDA, momentum builds up in the Demonic Tremor's arm resulting in more energy released at the point of impact (it is kind of hard to notice, but if you record the gameplay, slow it down by 1.5x, zooming in 10x and enhancing by 90% you will see the difference). Your armor is simply too low to withstand the impact and actually increases damage done to you by 3x. You will want to increase your armor to precisely 8k. Do NOT go above 8k though, because beyond that you will make yourself too solid of a target and create a reverb effect where the force of impact will run through your entire character, dealing damage over time based of 110% of the monster's DPS while reducing your character's ability to focus; decreasing IAS by 0.666.

Of course this can all be applies to mobs that are classified as "large". Hope that helps.

PS: The armor value I stated is unbuff. I took into account that you will be using Warcry and took the liberty to simplify calculations when upgrading your barb.
