Thinking of buying some gold in order to get on my feet again. Can they actually ban you for buying gold? I mean they can't prove that you actually bought the gold, can they?

they can prove you bought wow gold if they close the account down that was selling you gold/ a lot of other people gold, i've heard of people getting in trouble over this but never actually seen it and i've bought gold more times than I can count.

really? I mailed 40k to a low level character, put in a ticket and said I had the money in the mail to buy a token but couldnt get it and a GM gave me 24 hour subscription to get it out and buy the token. now I'm happily botting on that account

1) no way in hell theyre nazi's nowadays

2) using x86 client on an x64 capable machine and likely using CTM as well is a pretty easy flag that'll damn the vast majority of users and can be scripted to make a list w/ little or no effort by the folks at blizzard.

I personally assumed that after crippling the game over the years with subs not dropping by the thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands.. but by the millions - the last thing they would be doing is conitinuing to nail botters balls to the walls. But they are.

Ill gladly watch with popcorn though. and wish everyone the best of luck. They managed to scare this rebel straight.

I recently got an account back that was perma banned 5 years ago.

Sooo happy as it had rare mounts on it. So that is now a bit account again.

How did you manage that?

IMHO: (c) is the most probable answer to that question, honstly, why bother detecting "soooo many bots" and then suddenly stop banning botters. if they got a clean/proper way to detect honorbuddy, why not continue where they left off? get rid of all hb bots? hell yeah! people buying battle chests after battle chests starting over? way to go to make money!

The reason for this could also be that Blizzard used illegal methods to detect Honorbuddy, something they can't do again or often because they need to use a great deal of subterfuge or else get legal actions taken against them if discovered.

Cause i think some People like me where in the past just Stupid.

If guys use Multiboxing with 2-10 Chars and there using on alle 2-10 Accounts Honorbuddy. Thats no miracle that they got banned.

I used in the Past many Times Dungeonbuddy . I think that was the main reason that i got banned in the past.
Cause all guys that know bots . Can know that people use bots or not.

Cause i dont think that you would get ban to fast. if you use only to 100% Combat routines.
