12 bots on one machine

Might want to cover up the names.... Character and guild chat... Was able to zoom and see them.
 
Not too shabby. I'm running 3 on one box while ah'ing on a fourth. would have more, just don't have enough bots yet...
 
It's nothing special, just a random box I threw together, sometimes it surprises me. I'm going to upgrade the ram and hopefully the vid card and that would help alot. I have another 3-4 gigs of ram to throw in it now. Here are the specs:

nFORCE 680i LTSU Motherboard Socket 775, SLI support and DDR2 800MHz
Intel Pentium Dual CPU E3200 @ 2.2ghzx2
3 Gigs of DDR2 ram

Edit: Right after I took that screenshot, my rarekiller beeped because of terrorpene and now my hunter has the ghost crab and terrorpene. (I named my crab Igotcrabs only because they wouldn't let me use MrKrabs...)

i find it too risky to have over 3 per pc, it usualy get banned all at once when one get cough up.
 
Actually, I just had 5 accounts get banned for "Exploiting the Economy" not for botting oddly enough. I'm appealing them all, but one has been banned for this before. I am currently still running on my main account, two got banned that were running. But I did drop a bunch of stuff on the AH on them all except my main. I hadn't done anything but bot for the last couple days it seems like. Hope I can get most of them back... I haven't even sold gold on some of them, so those shouldn't be a problem.

Edit: On one of them I had made over like 18k in one visit to the mailbox and hawking stuff in trade... =D Damn you blizzard!

I sell from each bot. Of the five accounts, I got 3 back already. The one that was banned once already didn't get un-banned, so that's to be expected. I did sell gold on it after the last one though. I have sold gold on two of them and they aren't banned still. I really think they just banned me for making too many auctions. I'm just going to have to bot some chars on different servers to soften the load some I guess... =D

I try to be selling 50k plus when selling and i normally am selling once a week or two. I try to keep things minimal. I don't use a guild bank to sell gold. Just standard trade, but I know for a fact that I have sold gold on an account. Had it banned about a week later for listing too many things on the AH for exploiting the economy. Had it overturned by the next day and have been botting on since without ban. =D
 
They didn't even open a ticket initially, they just sent me e-mails saying that this account was exploiting the wow economy and they were banned. I responded back with some stupid crap for the most part on each one and here's a response from one.

just had an account banned for selling gold. I use the guild way too and still got banned. they wont give it back. oh well

A nice way to sell gold is by using 2 vanilla accounts and your farm accounts

So over time you deposit gold into a guild where vanilla key 1 is the GM.

When you reach 200-300k gold, vanilla key 1 will invite vanilla key 2 to the guild, then vanilla key 2 withdraws the gold from the guild and leaves, then you trade with the Chinese gold seller on vanilla key 2.

That way your farming account has had absolutely nothing to do with the vanilla key 2 and shouldn't in any way be associated with it if it gets banned, also use a VPN when trading gold that way if your banned, you can say you were hacked.

buy a Vanilla/TBC key and make an account with it and have it your selling gold account if that gets banned who cares<
