Got the banhammer this morning folks. I was going pretty hard though, 24/7. Even banned my main account which wasn't botted on. Gotta look out.

Of course not. Being banned is just a part of botting. Especially when you go like this, but the way I see it, is you can collect currency at all stages of this game, making even leveling profitable, and accounts are free, so I basically lose nothing.

my point is there is no reason to report that you got banned for obvious botting.
if you got flagged for less than 2 hours it'd be worth looking at

The point is, I reported it just in case someone else got hit at the same time I did, you know, JUST IN CASE, to rule out that it wasn't software detection or some other issue.

lesson here, do not bot on the same IP as your main.

use a virtual private network or a ***** for ur bot

Having different IPs doesn't really help if you're using the same MAC address. Imagine multiple accounts from around the world using the same MAC.

Bot 4 Hours now. they closed my bot account ... first flagged... then closed.. botted from lvl 1 - 23
god blessed they dont closed my main account

thought about it could be to that they closed this account because of my mailadress

deathstar, MAC address. Do.. do you know about MAC address? (like CCNA level or higher?)

I agree that *if* the PoE client is sending the MAC address of the host via an internal game channel back to GGG.. then it is another good way of identifying the host.
But I do not think that the client is doing that, perhaps APOC can say otherwise, but from what he has stated not so long ago there are not an anti-bot/warden features.
