Initially, i was boting only for buy equips to actualy play the game, then i saw the possibility of making money with then, and since i got a job, i let the bot there during the day and play normal at night, seeling what i can on RMAH without any concerns. So, i'm a lot happy if i can sell $50 a day lol. Botting is not my job, it's my hobby and for the very first time i can make real money with a hobby so damm it, $50 per day? AWESOME! Problem?

15% is not a sink. Its just a sink in the AH, not in the game itself. People who don't use the AH will never see this sink (hence the current inflation). They need to add something to the game itself to sink more gold into, or reduce the amount of gold you can get. The fact that I can pull almost 800k/hr with 1 toon, is ridiculous and is only going to make things worse.

There is kind of a gold sink in crafting.. If they wouldn't have changed the gem crafting prices, that was a good gold sink too.. but now people just make their squares into flawless squares for pennies, and then sell them on the AH..

Blizzard hasn't realized how much of a flop the AH is yet. Sure, they can line their pockets easily with it. But it's just ruining the game's economy as a whole. And at a much, much faster pace than all the rest of their games.

Crafting, potions and the repair can be a sink too, but for end-game players is not enought. The only thing for end-game players that can be a real sink in any game is a upgrade system for itens, like in other games that i play. Actualy is the most exciting thing for me to do when u are at lvl cap, is upgrade ur itens and then show off . I can't see other way to force you to spend the money than that...

Now that everyone is realizing that gold is mostly useless in this game (as it was in D1 and D2) they'll start realizing that the real money is to be made from items. Not gold.

I've been saying this from the start of the game (which is why I haven't bothered farming gold *gasp*!) Once random dungeon exploration is done, you'll see a wide variety of new types of profiles and scripts for the bot. You'll find that MFing for hours on end will yield you 5-10x more real money than any gold farming (unless you find some crazy good gold farming spot of course). Good items are always in demand. Gold is not. Especially without a gold sink to keep the economy in check (which doesn't seem to exist at all)

Even for gold, item farming is more profitable than gold farming.

You must take some time to study the RMAH and how it works, this week i stoped to play to do that and yet i don't find mi niche. i sold some random itens for like 10~15 bucks, set and legendary itens have a good chance to sell also. I just put random itens there if good stats and then sold hehe i'm not getin rich but it's nice to make money with a game ^^

I have over 400 completed transactions of $2.20 (netting just over a dollar each) No reason not to put the item up there if you have the empty spot in the AH.

better to sell items for 2M-3M and resell the gold 2-3$ whithout any fees, scam and chargeback risk but worth it

You make the assumption the item is worth 2-3mil. If they were worth millions it would be a different story.
They were worth 50-200k. People are stupid buying them for 2bucks. 400 transactions later I love stupid people.
