100000 Goldmark reached !

After being away from World of Warcraft and Buddytools for a longer time I can tell now from a big success.

Yesterday I've reached the 100.000 Goldmark by selling my stuff in the Auctionhouse!

Most of the Gold I've wasted for crap like leveling my professions, buying mounts, gems or what ever or not:p. But some of the Gold I made I sold to some of my friends (muahahaha 3€-5€ / k) and so I made arround 100€ yet with my Gold. The remainder I made by lvling a toon of a friend of mine^^

So it is time again for me to thank Honorbuddy and Gatherbuddy and the whole Dev-Crew + the freaky guys who made the profiles and plugins and so on^^

At least I have 1 wish for the future:

Please, for the love of God, give us a Honorbuddy-gather-feature. Gatherbuddy is ok of beginners or guys who don't use their bot as much as I do. GB is just to stupid, a real no-brain-train-zombie-auto-pilot who dies to many times.


PS: I still use my 1st Botaccount! But I guess some1 reported me and I soon will get a ban. But so what, with HB I will be back in business as fast as hell :P

Who likes posting stuff to the AH?
But if not, how to get the money out of your stuff? Do you sell it to privat buyers? I think it's more dangerous to sell ore and plants directly to players because they maybe will ask questions :D

Just alway try to do the following and you'll run fine(gb related):

- Don't bot with low level chars ( or if you want to level them through gb make sure the have enough gold to repair)
- If your bot hits max level buy new gear and repeat that step, everytime when you're in a city go to the ah and check if there is better gear and buy it

For example, if you have a character with more then 100k life and you use good macros your bot will never die from mobs!

If you mind getting banned just play some bg's or instances yourself, change your botting area and you'll be fine.
 
Thanks for your tipps DaSoul. The part with the equip I allready know but I think GB needs a bit more KI like Honorbuddy.

I've allready changed my botting area but you are right, I may should do some PvP or Instances by hand :P
 
First gratz on ur success, though i believe its doable in a matter of days :P

Anyhow, if gatherbuddy get some logic that would be nice, but don't forget what gatherbuddy is, its low cpu usage, simple to use gather bot. And as far as I'm concerned it should stay that way. Maybe a little logic (like including the standart ccs) and automated food / drink buying, but nothing more. HB is way overpowered for gathering.

Buying food/drink it self and a integration of the standart CCs would even be enough.

And yes it's doable in a matter of time, no question, but I'm happy about it anyway and I want to show new users what Honorbuddy and Gatherbuddy can do =)

Your "first" 100K is always nice and usually memorable. But as time goes by and with a little work you can make that in very short space of time. ATM I'm making that in three days - but i am lucky atm my server's prices are seemingly insane on some items. (wonder how that happened >:D)
 
Can you share some tips. I'm going to bot 2 account to gather stuffs and 1 to craft items. However I have am still leveling them. Thats just insane, I was dreaming about the VIal of sand, which is ~ 40k gold. it's a lot for me. Can't believe you have 1 000 000 -.-
 
right now you can still make stupid amount of gold simply mining and selling the high end ores and herbs. But to increase this further look at what can be made from them and start crafting and selling.

Think glyphs, buckles, pvp armors, flasks, gems etc

If the price is right they wont ask questions they will just buy more :).

IMO when your setting up a account it should go like this........
1st toon minning/herb
2nd toon blacksmithing/jc
3rd toon inscription/tailoring
4th toon engineering/skinning
5th toon leatherworking/alchemy

covers all but enchanting and you make good gold well your leveling up. I would say sell as least as possiable till you get your first 3 toons to 525 so you can really start making some gold.
 
only 1 account? I think bot a gathering account and a main account with crafting prof is better. I'm still on my way lvling my alt

I like the idea of a self suffcent account but at the same time if that account gets banned your pretty much screwed. So i understand were your comming from i guess you could have a account with 3 toons spread around with gathers prof. IDK how you would really setup a farming account unless its basic and im thinking to deep into it

OMG if we could add a custom-class to gatherbuddy simlar to how honorbuddy, i would have zero deaths with gatherbuddy.
