Hey Everyone,

My names MiseryInc. Im new to Honorbuddy and in the past, I've only used passive bots like ShadowBot. Also, they had a questing feature inbuilt and every route was pre-composed.

As you can tell therefore my experience is very small, when it comes to HonorBuddy. I dont know any code and I literally didn't know, what went where, what sessions were and I couldnt get plugins to work - I still can't now.

Its now been 3 days. Thats all. Im level 73 on all 3 of my alts, playing 8 - 9 hours a day MAX. I am quickly going to show you how I did it.

What you need:

* 3 Accounts - the number is optional but in my experience, I have found it easiest to do it with 3 RAF accounts; linked to the "Main" account. 3 accounts is probably the optimum number due to XP share and having a variety of classes at 80 to do whatever you want with.
* 3 Sessions, Lifetime plan from HonorBuddy
* Small amount of patience and bit of time to watch the bot, every now and again.

Now lets get to it:

After the accounts are set up - I use a $5 Battlechest on all of them - use either Kick's Profile or Pangea created by Botanist to get to level 15. I would advise, using a tank and two DPS or a tank, a healer and a DPS. Use PartyBot to get them there if using Pangea - grinding - as this will keep them within 100 yards of each other at all times with no exceptions. This may take a few hours, even with the small groups but it is definitely worth it. Note: This should be the point in time that you mother the bot most!

After getting to level 15 on all your characters, load up DungeonBuddy on all 3 of the instances of HonorBuddy.exe. Set the leader plugin on the tank, and in the bot config, set the tank to be the leader with the followers name set e.g. Ragnaros, Icewing and on the others put in the same information but set it to a "follower". Now all the DPS will follow your tank, wherever he goes. Also, if he dies and is not the tank, they will run to him and regroup. This is the best option to use when Dungeoning.

Tank, like a bitch. Honestly. To put a few statistics in there, and these maybe very much off to your normal standards as I am very new to this type of botting but:

Total Playtime:
1-15: 5 hours, 31 minutes
15-39: 9 hours, 12 minutes
39 - 53: 17 hours, 27 minutes
53-73: 29 hours, 52 minutes

The process is ongoing. All my characters are now level 73 and this was without using a 10% guild XP* increase or heirlooms. *Up to level 40*.

Just to put this into perspective, my characters went up 4 levels in Deadmines as soon as they hit level 15. This included the quests there.

15 - 40

15 to 40, is going to be the easiest levelling time you have ever seen! It is so insanely fast it takes about 6-9 instances to get them to level 40! (I will update this figure, when I get my next pair up to 80) and you should have no trouble monitoring them!

40 - 80

40 to 80, on the other hand is one of the harder ones where you have to spend more time mothering your bots to get them through their levels. One of my days was wasted, going from 39-43 in only a day! My advice to you, is unless you can gear you healer and tank or just the tank, with the next step up gear e.g. Mail > Plate, then you should swap them to DPS and queue for DPS only.

I hope this guide made sense and I know its informationally blocky and long but I hope it helped in some way. Anyone, has permission to re-do this guide in their own way for other users if they can add anything, just please mention me. Keep the MiseryInc legacy going =P

Thanks
MiseryInc

You can get from 1-80 in 30 hours using Symbiotic.

Misery, welcome to the forums. Nice write up!

I started with shadowbot briefly before coming here too! Symbiotic would fit really well with what you are doing.

You've made great progress with dungeonbuddy, but beware AFK isn't advised. There is a chance of having an outside player queue into your bot group if one of your bot team DC's.

This exposes your activities and could result in reports. If you are monitoring and this happens I'd recommend stopping all bots until the person leaves (stop so the bots don't auto require again).

Alternatively you could stop and leave group - but you'll have to eat the deserter rebuff.

You wouldn't have to deal with this aspect with something like symbiotic.

Symbiotic (which has been mentioned 3 times now :D ) works best imo.

since im lazy, i stopped using RAF.. and im rly satisfied with buying SOR's, let them run 24/7 for a day and they've earned themself in.

Thanks for the advice guys. I always thought that you need to have a high level to use Symbiotic in the first place though?

I left my bots alone for about 8 hours yesterday - risky business - and I came back to only have gone up 3 levels in that time with triple XP! Quite outrageously slow. Thats been my only problem with DungeonBuddy.

Hopefully this helped in some way anyway =) and I am going to go and try Symbiotic now =)

Thank you

Symbiotic requires a level 90 booster character that is unaffiliated with the two RAF characters.
