[1-60 5 Hours] Haagenti's Method

1-60 in 5 hours BY Haagenti
No quests Needed (almost)

Hi guys,

I know there are already a million threads about this but I recently lvled up a barb in 5 hours 1-60 and I wanted to share with you what I did...not sure if it has been done before.
It is all based on the fact that you have another account with 1 lvl 60 and you follow these 2 procedures:

1) Farm Whimsyshire at mp10, which gives an enormous amount of XP/min compared to the rest of the acts.
2) Jump to next acts-difficulties with another account sharing waypoints to your new toon

As you can notice basically NO quests are done!
Here it is:

lvl 1-3 -- 4 Minutes --
complete first 2,3 quests until old ruins waypoint

lvl 3-25 -- 1 hour --log another account with a lvl60 decently geared char and Staff of herding
bot this char with a Whimsyshire profile at Normal MP10
Follow the lvl60 char with your new toon and try to avoid AOE and mobs, they can be nasty.....
Rinse and repeat (enjoy XP superfast!!!)
At lvl 12 buy a head with socket and add a good ruby (+31% xp)
At lvl 14 buy a Leoric Signet ring if u dont have one already (+20-30% min XP)
At lvl 23 buy Cain Set (+30% exp)

lvl 25 >>go to Nightmare --around 25-30 min
Get the waypoints for the rest of the acts by joining games from your lvl 60, kill bosses until u get into Nightmare difficulty

lvl 25-48 -- 1.5 hours --
Go back with your 60 botting Whimsyshire, this time at Nighmare MP10
Careful with monsters and elites here, try to upgrade a bit your gear without touching the +XP items

lvl 48 -- around 30min
Now, get waypoints from your main until HELL ACT 3 KILL AZMODAN
Go to AH, buy items with Level reduction. You should be able to gear up decently in this way, very important to have a good weapon and a decent health pool

lvl 48-60 -- 1.5 hours /BOT--
Load on DB an Act 3 profile Hell, good ones are for example Skycrown Battlements which will give you around 3-7m xp hour.
Bot your new toon at mp0 until lvl60, which should take around 1.5 hours

I am glad if this method will help anybody looking for a fast way to lvl up.
Trolls pls don't reply with stuff like "I do it in 15 min...", I know it already!

Hmm might try this but have a hard time believing it's 5 hours. And for 2.5 hours you gotta manually follow your other character. How hard is mp10 on nightmare?
Can a monk cannon do it?

if ur lvl60 kills fast, totally duable. just watch out for aoe elite dmg and buy some +vit gear

Speaking from experience, with 3 of 4 characters power leveled in roughly 3 1/2 hours, the fastest by far is keep depths 2. There are posts elsewhere of doing it in ~2hrs.

1 to 25 in KD2 normal, 25 to 50 in KD2 nightmare, and 50-60 in KD2 hell.

So if you are open to suggestions, I would recommend looking into KD2 routes.

I never hit a game limit once - I mean we spent a good 5-10 minutes (maybe more) on each clear which was well above the game limit.

Don't you have to finish the quests to unlock he'll and inferno though? I'm on act 3 nightmare and already 47 but took like 30 hours and counting.

Sorry I may have been a bit ambiguous. The keep depths leveling I did was manual and extremely fast. It worked like this:

Friend goes to last quest in act 3 normal. We go to keep depths 2 and run until level 25. Then we fight normal diablo.

Just repeat that from 25-50 in Nightmare and then 50-60 in Hell.

I am not sure about profiles or what that is why I was offering this as a suggestion to look into to speeding the leveling up.

Edit: this is run at mp10 at all times. It is also using a hellfire ring, cains set, and a perfect or radiant star in the helm.

More or less same method I did for my first manual leveled barb.

3.5 hours really? If so I'd rather hand level that stuff for 3 hours than wait 3 days while my computer is out of commission lol.

Just to clarify..

When you say you go to the KD2 by having your friend go to the last quest in A3, you mean you literally skip all of act 1 and act 2 normal and just get the waypoint from him and run keeps depths 2 over and over and over until you hit level 25? Then how do you get to diablo? do you do all of act 4 or have him waypoint you to the last act in act4 and beat him and unlock nightmare?

Ohh.... mp10. Uh haha might be a problem for me cause I dont have an account that can do MP10 let alone mp6. Having an account capable of botting mp10 so I can follow by hand would be even more insane. And since you said hellfire ring, i guess it doesn't work for new characters just additional rolls once you have level 60 and have a few hellfires to spare. oh well

i thought you had to complete certain parts of each act to get onto next difficulty

I have been trying Act3 as well, but honestly it is not as you say. There is around 20% less XP on a MP10 run in keeps compared to Whimsyshire.
Plus, if u run Hell MP10 your follower will DIE like crazy!

I might be wrong but, did you try Whimsy as well?

I will get my main char and make my level 1 follow it... but, how do I do that? I mean, how do I make my alt keep on following my main so it get the XP? Or I just can leave him in anywhere in this map while my main kills everything?

you run the bot on your main and manually follow him with your low level char.
