We will be performing scheduled maintenance for Diablo III starting tomorrow at 3:00 a.m. PDT in order to deploy patch 1.0.3. We anticipate that maintenance will conclude and that all services will be available by approximately 1:00 p.m. PDT.

Important: Please note that you will not be prompted to download patch 1.0.3 until the patch is live in your home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.3 is live until those regions have also patched.

For reference, here are the scheduled maintenance times for each region:

The Americas: 3:00 a.m. PDT (6/19) to 1:00 p.m. PDT (6/19)
Europe: 6:00 p.m. PDT (6/19) to 4:00 a.m. PDT (6/20)
Asia: 1:00 p.m. PDT (6/20) to 11:00 p.m. PDT (6/20)

I would guess the commodities are going to go live, which if that's the case, farming gold probably wont be a great idea. Unless you have a large number of bots to keep gold farming profitable with inflation.
 
well I just hope they don't go hog wild on nerfing any chance at gold but know buzzard they plan in the future that gold will be useless and everyone will be on the RMAH.
F I ain't buying virtual crap for real cash.

Already got my barbs 240MF 210 GF set on act 1 inferno sarkoth runs :) Time to get my other 3 toons straight MF gear maybe 300% +

I dont want to sell items, I want to sell gold.

Is the gold on RMAH coming aswell then?

Otherwise, wont the purchase of gold increase? With more high lvl items available for sale which would probably cause more people buying gold to buy those items. And less people farming gold, but would probably not make any difference.

What are you referring to exactly? The selling of all items in the inventory at once?

You would still want to sell blue items, possibly even yellow items.
And set rules to keep items with certain stats, like at least 200 in 1 stat and various other things.

Unless you want to look at 100s of items each day, and clear storage every hour.
 
This patch does not mean gold farming is useless, most people hate the RMAH and the hassle that comes with using it. Gold is going to still be worth farming but hey I ordered pc parts to build 5 computers so I can have 16 bots or more going at once so either way its win win for someone who does it for a living. I see gold being purchased just as much as it is now if not more with the new patch. This whole MF thing really only helps legit players who will go out get there 5 stacks and kill bosses, thats there logic, if I go farm 5 stacks 100 times, I can make a couple million gold a day guise, omg I got something worth some 3 days later let me go sell it for 10 million gold, while the gold farmers who bot several are making 10 million or more an hour without the hassle. You guys spread unknown rumors like you know what will happen. Items drop is less harder areas big deal, if you read the drop rate, its horrible unless you can farm act 3 and 4 bosses with ease. So the ones saying MF is the way to go and gold is worthless are idiots. Ilvl61 is the top thing this bot can do, I do not see it farming act4 inferno anytime soon without a toon in hundreds of millions of gold in MF gear with stats you need to survive for 1 and 2 to kill anything.
 
It would actually be kinda fun if a lot of botters buy MF gear for like 100m and then realize it gives a lot less than farming gold or if their gear isnt enough to clear elite packs without dying. ^_^

Dying will also be a quite big problem since they are going to increase the repair cost (dunno if it is with 1.0.3, but they said 4-6 times as high I think).
Would really suck if bot dies 10+ times every run in inferno, and would probably require really long profiles, since you would want to get 5 stacks NV and clear as many packs as possible.
If you leave game because of a too hard pack, then you lose NV. If you continue maybe you continue dying on them "forever".
 
You realize to get the good gear you have to farm act 3/4 inferno right? Act 1/2 is shit.

Act 1 & 2 will also drop it, but think it was:
2% 4% 8% or something. So need to get 4 times as many drops in act 1.

Might be a lot easier in act 2 and 3 with the reduced difficulty with the patch, but even so I think a elite pack would destroy the bot in act 2 & 3. Flies in act 2 would probably be impossible for the bot, cant avoid their attacks, ranged vs mortar... melee standing in molten, getting frozen etc. Will be very hard, barb will probably do best because of their cd abilitys.
Pets, AOE 2000% dmg and form with bonus to all stats and dmg.

I guess botting act 3 will be a loss of gold, and botting act 2 will probably not be good except for certain places possibly.
Probably only a few that might be able to pull it off, and with 200-300% mf...
