1,000M gold now only 50$ WTF?

Anyone else seen this going around? When did gold prices get that bad (as if they were already bad enough).
 
They've already been this low for at least 2 weeks; have you been living under a rock?
 
No bans since December and even small time shmucks like me are running 14+ bots... just imagine what the big timers are running especially in places like China and Moldova. Is it any wonder why radiant star gem is only $1.4?

The price of gold and items drops by the week, there's no realiable $/month or even $/week atm. Although, it seems gems are holding their price lately.
 
OP i sould 800 mil for 28$ today... could find a better offer anywhere on the sites. What is that places that buys a bil for 50 $.

I turned 1000mil into 43? RS emeralds and sold them for 1.80 ea that day the AH was being funky with auths/sms codes... so about $70.... now with them being $1.40 id imagine thats about $50. I have never tried a site with d3
 
Things really are in the gutter. I may have to dump all my gold into gems soon before I leave for the summer. By the looks of things it's never going to sell for anywhere near as high as 25c. They'll either lower the cap on the RMAH and/or the xpac will create a small spike.

bro you have 12 bots, you can still squeeze a grand+ a month if you buy gems and sell them for 4.5c/m at least thats what they are worth on US ATM :)

in that calculation, assuming you're mentioning $1,000/month, his 12 bots needs to produce 750m per day.
I dunno...
 
Yeah $1k a month with 12 bots highly unlikely... you need to get very lucky with drops. crit mempos etc

Well for Europe its 25mil RS =1euro after taxed around 0,7- 0,8. cents. Or 250mil for 8 euro. Or around 31 mil for 1 euro.
In order to make 1k euro you will need 1000x31 mil gold or 31 000 000 000 gold farmed per month.

Lets say that on average you farm 700gph per hour(items not included) you will be amking 16.8 millions per day on 1 account. But lets round that on 17 mil per acount.
This means that two acounts farm a bit more than 1 euro per day. However you need 33,33333 euros per day to reach tha target of 1k Euro.
Since we know that we need around two accounts for 1 euro this means that you need 66 accounts to reach your goal of 1k per month.
And will need to farm: 1023mil per day.
In all honesty that is managble consididering you will be running a gold running profile with that many accounts. As item managing will be just too much.
Still you will need either 4 PC able to run 16,5 instances of D3 or 5 pc with 13,2 instances of D3.

Considering this you will need a invesment of 6650euros(key is 25 euro for 1 intance and each computer is rounded on 1 euro) in a declining market. So ye you will ned half a year to cover the expenses of everything and not taking in to account the electricty bill and the banwave that is bound to hit you in 6 months. Still once set and running time investment will be mimimum if you have a relogger and stable connection.

P.S. It would be fun to watch what effect you have on the price of gems if you cash ones per month as you need to buy and sell close to 2000 gems :D
 
well its duable because i do that.

got 10-12 bots on 2PCs in last few months. this month statistics shows its over 30 EUR / day on average...
soft item rules, i manage all 12 bots everyday for 2 hours, cleaning stash putting shit items on AH everything above 500k+, transfer 100m+ items on mules and sell them either on GAH or RMAH it depends what price is in my favour. gold is not even that much usually 450-700k gph over different bots. i usually transfer from 250-500m gold everyday (thats from seling shit items on bot accounts) to my mule + 0-5 items which are worth at leasth 100m. I am more pointed towards item farming than gold farming. 1-1.5 legendary per hour on average is what my logs say.then you just buy gems and sell them on RMAH or flip some items.

@Soullinker daily average looks like selling 20 gems + 2 items and that sums over 30 EUR. On EU its 3 - 3.5c/m if you sell gems. But i still manage.
from my point of view its more of a 2.5-3 EUR per bot per day. But it used to be 12 EUR per bot back when i started in oct/nov. Game got easier, drops were buffed, db, trinity, gear and profiles got improved...

Cmon. Do you really want to tell every rookies 100x that there is no money in this game. I dont mind helping other but if you are intelegent ...you know that when helping others you stab yourself in back.Even if i know how to sell 1M for 5$...i wont tell you. Let them play. Let'em farm first billion and laugh as they open topic " Gold is not selling?!" I'm boting just for fun. To make my bot stronger that friends .....hahahaha. Demonbuddy rox.
