The RMAH isn't the only place to sell items. Hell you can even sell things on ebay still if you're sneaky enough.

Seriously though, you'll find regular item selling (for pure $) better in most cases. It's harder to sell things sometimes, but if the items are good enough, they *will* sell.

Nah. Things arent as simple as you think. In the past SOJ was the de facto currency cos there isnt an AH available so only barter trade is available. You will definitely need something to use as a currency hence there's where SOJ comes in.

Now that AH and RMAH is available, u can never circumvent the fact that only gold or real money is accepted to get things off the AH.

Sure u can do barter trade if you still wish to but the huge number of stackable scammers around should be already enough to put you off. Not to mentioned the "dangers" of using the crappy trade window.

While I agree that brimstones will hold its own intrinsic value, it will never replace gold as the ultimate game currency.

I suggest you guys start either holding on to those seriously crazy items you find, or cash out on your gold and hope for the best. Personally, I have no interest in gold selling, I make far more off items. (Selling a single item for $1k is far better than selling 2bil for $500)

Last night, before the Maintenance, I unloaded most of my gold, buying damage/survival/a bit of MF gear for all my chars, and have enough gold left over for some nice +XP perfect star rubies, which I will craft for my guys today. Then it's off to mug/loot/and place ck in rs of some champs

With infinite ways to produce gold, there will be inflation, and people will stop using gold as currency. (Instead it'll turn into "someone gimme 2bil gold for repairs" like it did in D2)

I just saw the new items aswell - they are insane compared to yellows. And wont be more than a week untill the marked is flooded with legendaries, so it'll be about the perfect roll if you wanna sell for profit.

With the gold gone completely down in value, and new legendaries being this good, but so "easy" to obtain, I'm not sure the game will be as good for profit as I hoped.

And I can't believe I saved up 200m, what a stupid move, haha.

If you can, I highly recommend running Barbs with Monks+Spirit Ally. It's one hell of a site. They totally rule! A gang bang of butchery, with bits of bodies flying all over the place.
