【H - Quest】alen521 68-80

i would half to agree this profile is really buged in borean tundra now it is stuck trying to pick up a quest cruelty of kvladir
 
Numerous bugs with this QO, but it's probably still the best QO that I've come across. Averaged around 300k/hr unrested as a geared warrior with minimal deaths from 71-74. Got stuck about every 10-15 quests, and I would have to either complete the quest myself, turn in the quest myself, or move my character. I think the most glaring bug (most bugs involved character getting stuck on objects) was an infinite loop my character fell in when trying to do the egg killing quest in the beginning keep. I also had issues emptying my bags, but I believe that was an error on my part. Some goofy behavior dealing with underwater quests, and my character started running far away from my corpse after being ganked in beryl point. Overall, it's a good profile to alt-tab with or to keep on while you do other things around the house but a bad profile to afk full time as you'll need to unstuck it.

Need to add check for level 72 when it tries to pick up the quest Cycle of Life. I added in a grind to the profile right before the quest pick up and it's fine. If anyone is trying to maintain this profile I would suggest they do the same.

Also noticed that anytime I exit the game and then start up this profile again, it will always go to pick up and do the daily Preparing For The Worst.

I do think that overall this profile is good. Just need some minor tweaks here and there to fix it up. If you aren't using the BuddyCenter plugin and don't have remote access to your box, I would suggest not AFKing.
 
can any one tell me how to delete a quest from the profile itself and as i run across these buged quests i would like to just delete them and continue on
 
well ok now it has gone through several questing areas now either get message failed to generate path or what not even in some instances i have had to do the quests

Easy to do...just open the profile in something like notepad++ and search for the quest. Once you find it make the following changes...
Find the PickUp QuestNAme= "The Quest you want to Delete"...

and change it to...

This will comment out the quest and the bot will skip it. DON'T FORGET the -- at the end as well. I do this for the sole reason of maintaining the structure of the profile in case later on HB will be able to do the quest. I can then just uncomment it.
 
thanks a ton assasssin, any chance you have a copy of the profile with some of these quests already skipped. I don't have the knowledge to write a questing profile, but maybe we can at least make the profile better by skipping some of the bugged quests. not perfect but will help the community with 68-80 a lot. I have a toon thats 67 and going strong so I'll do my best to fix what I can but if someone already has a profile somewhat fixed it would be much appreciated.

no problem at all. I would take a look at this thread as it seems the author has taken alen521's profile and done what I was doing. I never finished this profile but I plan to this time with the linked profile to see how it goes.
 
alright and if i run into any quests with problems i'll change it and let him know.
 
I am new to HB and profiles and loving it :) Money well spent so far and I look forward to learning more about it.

I am wondering if this profile should be renamed... I downloaded it thinking it would pick up the lvl 68 quests available... instead it wants to grind me from 68 to 70, then start questing (from what I have read in this thread).

So far, it does grind fairly well :)... but I think I will do the quests and get this to 70 myself then turn it back on.

im running this profile right now with the bot, i just bought today so i wanna know if the bot will do the quests using flying mount or ground mount only. currently my bot is only using ground mount for the quests, how do i set it so that it uses flying mount to conserve the time needed between travel?

the profile aside you need to have bought lifetime account or a flying paid plug-in to be able to use flying mount

Was working good, but I left it unattended for like 45 minutes, and in that time frame i got banned :(... not sure if il use it again, prolly go back 2 grinding profile
 
is there any way to make this profile function for my level? i'm level 77 currently and it's trying to do borean tundra quests =(
