IsPrivate is only used to determine whether to include you into global statistics/lists or not. I guess we could implement some sort of additional 'public access key' with viewing rights only.

I think you are forgetting one thing: It isn't the extremely fluctuating spawn rate thats skewing the results. Just don't compare with people doing 30 runs and calling it nerfed.
