Generating new Windows id is mor risky. Do this on WMs but note on your main. Btw its not really neaded juste modify client id

if you made a clean diablo installation yes. jsut check the registry keys. if you just copied the WMs no reg keys wil be the same.

reverse client and confirm how this keys are generated maybe and how they are used to loggin but i'm lazzy to do it . maybe db team can do? that's easly confirmable, now the only thing we don't know is the server part. but a least covering our ass with client is not big deal
