Wow is open, I open HB to start, when it gets to the loading screen, it crashes. I will link the windows crash message.

Please explain any steps to reproduce this bug. If the bug is not reproducible, we may not be able to fix it.
It has happened since the new WoW Patch 5.3.

Please list all plugins currently enabled (as well as links to any plugins not packaged with HB by default)
Which Custom Class are you using? Please include the version, and link if applicable.

The default required plugins for kicks. Current updated version as of today.
I can't open HB to see if I have other plugins to mention.

Which Bot? (Grind, Quest, Archaeology Buddy, BGBuddy, etc)

A friend of mine that uses HB said that it is common for HB to not work well with Windows XP, is that true also? It worked well for me until the most recent large patch.

Questing botbase... any profile that attempts to use the travel command:

The bot will almost always run (not fly) to the nearest FlightPath and take the taxi to the FP nearest to the Destination location. It will then mount a ground mount and run to the destination.

What I am noticing is that just before mounting a ground mount, the bot tries 2 flying mounts. In my case I have flying carpet (Tailor) and flying machine (engineer) available on my account, but I am on a toon that has neither skill.

Archeologybuddy fails to autotrain (open dialogue with trainer but fails to learn, hb windows keeps spamming that it's learning the new skill). Happened at all levels up to 300 (where i am now, but will probably fail again)

I using a quest-bot for farming instance - to die bot appeared at the cemetery can get directions from the cemetery to the portal instanse.

I tested it on a fresh bot, without any change in settings
resurrection in spirit off!

[EDIT 31-Oct-2013 by chinajade]: This is a long-standing problem caused by the "Ground mount" being set to a "flying mount", so moved it here from Kick's thread.



Here's another problem that I encountered during questing in Deepholme. If the ground mount and flying mount are the same, the bot seems to be facing an issue dismounting. As you can see from the logs, I died 3 times to Emerald Colossus. I then switched the ground mount to Amani Bear. After that I switched again back to a Hippogryph. The bot fails to dismount. I want to post this in the support section, but after two threads being asked to post it in the profile thread, I might as well do it here first.

I was AFK for a bit while running this. Failed to pick a quest reward and kept attempting to complete the quest for approximately 2-3 hours still not picking quest reward.

Hello,
I've got some problems with my honorbuddy theses days.
Each time when I begin with my bots ( 5 accounts ) there's always like 1-2 honorbuddy bots who closes and come back after, but the problem is, that repeats every 2mins, when they are fighting, sometimes the honorbuddy closes. it's really wierd, if it's possible to have some help here, should be awesome. thanks
 
Seriously ... come on honorbuddy. I have a complaint here.

Now ... I understand you guys have a stellar program going on here. However, who ever decided to take out PULL DISTANCE out from the developers needs to be slapped on the back of the head. WORST IDEA EVER. My fricking toon is trying to go to town and CAN'T get there, because well ... IT'S PULLING EVERYTHING in its damn path. Seriously - seriously .. you're going to let the combat routine control this? Why not let the developers control this within their routine. No offense to the combat routines, but that doesn't have much brains for thought in them so it's just gonna say ooo mob let's combat this. Yea, fix this please.

This doesn't just affect questing, this affects farming toon. So, if you're farming some mats (herbs/ore) you can grab the node but then pick up all the adds cause you're bot is no longer intelligent enough to mount back up and go on it's marry ole business. Now, I have to figure out do I blacklist something cause it has mobs 20 yards away in which I do not aggro by level, but by entering combat.

Fix this garbage please.
 
help! since the new patch everytime i log in it says honourbuddy has stopped working. tried installing it again but get the same message

This post was originally submitted to Kick's thread (and that is why it is written the way it is). However, the recommended solution would've been a band-aid to an Honorbuddy bug, and we declined to implement the recommendation for fear of 'covering up' the bug. Instead, this problem appears to be a fundamental bug in Honorbuddy itself that needs to be examined, please.

And another bug + fix :) for another quest in terrokar forest (BC profiles for both Horde & Alliance this time)

Actually, this quest relies on a human player around killing mobs, in order for the bot to finish the quest, why? simply because the bot tries to kill mobs on the trees above him, and he targets the mobs and stands still, until a player comes and kills those mobs.

The issue is simply that the user setting "KillBetweenHotspot" needs to be set as False during this particular quest and later on to True after it gets done, and everything goes smooth afterward, tested and working nicely for both factions.

While looking at the bot stuck targeting a mob above him, another bot was there sitting at the same place which just helped me confirm that i was not alone, and also this particular issue happened to two of my characters :)

Please be concise with your report: I believe the bot is trying to turn in a quest to Pyrium Lodestone. It hovers a good deal over him in the air, and after some time just dismounts. Then it mounts again, flies up to the same distance, waits and then dismounts again...
Please explain any steps to reproduce this bug. If the bug is not reproducible, we may not be able to fix it: I believe the bot is trying to complete the quest, "Rescue the Stonefather... and Flint"

the new myctm behavior is bugged.
if bot does not finish myctm to xyz bot will stops.
after the bot stops and you restart the profile he will still try to do the myctm he failed before he stoped.
he will try to do it even if you change profile or chnage botbase. the only way to reset it is restart hb

After yesterday?s update my I started the bot and he just stands there. He will use the basic spells or self-casts but then stands there.

Please explain any steps to reproduce this bug. If the bug is not reproducible, we may not be able to fix it.

I have, reinstalled HB once by exe and once by download and placement. I have deleted all add-ons in game as well as reinstalled wow its self. I have updated singular and re-downloaded all profiles used. In short I have reinstalled everything at least once. Same issue each time. I have also tunred my anti virus off before installing the program as well as when I ran it.

Never used any add on other than what is turned on by default. ItemForAuraQuestHelper, and anti drown.

Using the latest version of Honorbuddy, do any of the quests given by Pyrium Lodestone and watch as the bot does the turn in. It simply fails to land and memory reading error exception is thrown.

When mounted, the toon targets quest objectives to be killed - but do not dismount. It targets, runs past - and after maybe 40 yds, it starts twerking back and fort rappidly and dont know what to do. Whn I manually dismount it, it starts the combat routine and kills.

Please explain any steps to reproduce this bug. If the bug is not reproducible, we may not be able to fix it.
When questing is activated, and it is on a mission to kill stuff while mounted

As soon as I start the bot, it gets to the point where a profile loaded into the bot. But then on the "communication line" just under the log it says "checking for script updates" and it gets stuck. Stands there doing nothing at all, the bot seems still "alive", but then if I try to close it, it crashes and I have to kill it from the task manager. I have tried first thing a fresh installation.

Please explain any steps to reproduce this bug. If the bug is not reproducible, we may not be able to fix it.

I have been monitoring the leveling of my character and every so often (not predictable intervals) the character just stops what it is doing be it mid fight, in air, standing next to a quest giver, whatever. When I pull up the HB window I see: Bot stopped! Reason: Auth Session is invalid
Session is invalid!

It has happened maybe 3-5 times since I updated to the latest version of HB. I do not share my HB keys and I have 2 authorizations under my key, so it shouldn't be having any issue when I only have one WoW open. I have also noticed the game crashing quite a bit (not at all common for me), though I doubt it is related.

Please explain any steps to reproduce this bug. If the bug is not reproducible, we may not be able to fix it.

I have reinstalled HB, updated & re-downloaded Kick's profiles & ensured no plugins were ticked that were not supposed to be used, as well as trying different routines to see if it was at fault. None of that has resolved the issue, so I imagine to recreate it all you need to do is run the bot on questing mode with the latest update.
