Yes, there's a conflict when character path lies through the avoid zone, or when the item or mob is inside aoe. It's a Trinity default behaviour. I hope i'll have enough patience to fix it someday =D

Note that u should change the first SACRIFICE section that you've found in the document(it has locusts right before). It's the one related to combat & not avoiding stuff. I think it should look that way...

Well, bot can already spam zombie dogs. There's no cd applied to this ability. He will just use it when 0 dogs exist. Or you mean spam sacrifice?

"Demolition man", as you call it, doesn't require 0 cd on dogs. And if u looked closely on the build i linked, it has following abilities to restore dogs: 1) "Grave Injustice" - minus 1 sec cd on each killed enemy. 2) "Next of kin" - each sacrificed dog has 35% chance to get summoned again. 3)...
