Arcana - Lazyraider/Raidbot Arcane Mage CC

Lathrodectus, please update your macro credits to reflect that the macros are from "Mastahg" not from CLU. I added them to CLU as I was doing my PvP immplementations but I was allowed to use them via Mastahg's permission. He deserves all the credit :)

Here are the results of my 5min quick run on a standard dummy in the Eternal Blossum:

Arcana 2.1.8 ~> 30344
Singular ~> 17986
Simplex Bardus - Artium Arcanorum ~> 30757
PureRotation R463 ~> 26358

They above are with CDs, No Hero...

I can download it from two different PCs, even without logging in to forum from one of them.

CLU-14617966-Problems, Uses Haste buff and casts rune of power twice, spams rune on elegon.
Arcana-11548075 -Problems, Doesn't use Alter Time, Arcane Power. Flame Strike before arcane explosion spam for aoe would be nice.
Pure- 15854721 (52678 Problems, cast rune of power twice. Not tested on elegon.

Problem in general, Spamming of buff when people leave and join raid. Best thing about this cc it never lags like the others.

I am contimplating releasing it... Not too sure yet, your's sems to do might well thus far. A few tweaks are needed but you have a solid foot hold for future implementations...

Hello Jase,
Arcana IS using the DPS cooldowns on boss by default, have you checked the settings?
In terms of dps many users are happy about the results. Some have top50 parses with this CR.
Is that numbers on a raiders training dummy? or a low level dummy?

About AoE; I couldnt find out a good rotation that beats single target rotation up to 4 targets. So far tab-targeting for multi-dot and setting AB discharge to zero (number of hostile targets around our target) worked great for me.
I tried to implement a better flamestrike locator rather than casting it on our current target but miserably failed.
I might improve AoE if someone points me to the right direction as I'm no longer raiding with my mage.

Hello devide,

When I started creating this CR I aimed for a non-AFK raiding CR with good damage output and performance. I can say it has fulfilled it's role for me.
I'm quite sure there is room for improvement but as I stated on one of my posts above I'm no longer raiding with my mage. I dont even have an arcane spec anymore.
So I'm willing to improve and update Arcana to the needs of raiders while keeping the CR itself as simple as possible. But I need some good documented pointers for that, preferably from someone raiding end-game.
As for the Ice Barrier, that can be implemented with some range/target checks into combatbuffs, but is it really needed when you can make a macro for that?

Will look and check the settings and results again later. Was on normal dummy, but I must of changed the setting and forgot to put them back :( Thanks

I love this been using since 1 week ,
I have a question about the macros. You posted some php codes. where do i use this. i would really like to be able to blink/ice block/ice barrier at will. but because the bot is doing the rotation i cant cast them
