Can I Run and Bot Wow using a VPS?

Hi, My university connection has the ports for HB blocked so i am unable to run it their.

I am considering of getting a v ps and installing wow and HB on it.

Is this possible, can V PS's manage wow?

Look, you CAN but it would run a VERY high price for hardware to do that. Since VPS are usually for game/web hosting which isnt to intense.
You have a few cheaper options here:
1. Use a V ps
2. Use a tunneling program like pr0xycap/Proxifier/google
3. Rent a V PS or something and make an SSH tunnel with putty for HB

All the information is readily available on google as many people have issues with work firewalls with games/programs so there is plenty of information to get you started!

I did a few searches and saw a few people having issues similar to mine but did't see any solution.

Thanks for the reply guys. I found a fairly cheapish soloution for anyone else with blocked port (authentication failed, dude to simialr issues).
I'm using this thing called 'Your Freedom' Its a *** I think, but does the job. There are a couple of guides on youtube and their site aswell so fairly noob friendly. I purchased a 4mb bandwidth package for 10euros for a month.

Does the job. Im happy I can bot.
 
Using a V-P-N *will* eventually get you banned - it's against their ToU, subject to a ban. Read it yourself.
And somehow they know exactly to pinpoint the use of a V-P-N.
