Recently i read on the change log this :* Executor should now work with two more directx versions, hopefully HB should now be able to attach to WoW in any architecture/directx combination.
that means that the bot now works without problems on Directx11 as well?
one more thing where to i enable/change the "Temporarily Suspend Movement"?
Hi,
Sodade21,
Honorbuddy is supposed to work on both DX9 and DX11. However, the DX subsystems are
not M$soft exclusive subsystems, and depend on driver support from your video card manufacturer. Some manufacturers support one version much better than the other (and which one is better supported is not consistent).
In Honorbuddy support, its obvious that some people have no problems with either version, while a considerable number are still having problems with DX11. Failing to work with DX9 happens occasionally. Most DX11 problems manifest as "failure to hook the client", or extremely slow initialization (think 20 minutes before the Honorbuddy "Start" button is enabled). If you have a problem due to a bad DX11 sub-system, you'll know pretty much immediately at Honorbuddy-launch time.
Just because DX11 works on your WoWclient, or another game, does not mean it will succeed when used with Honorbuddy. (The same argument can be made for DX9, but not as often). I won't get into the technical reasons why this happens, but it does.
As far as Temporary Suspend Movement, in Singular its:
Honorbuddy -> Settings & Tools -> Class Config -> Hotkeys tab
Other Combat Routines have this feature, but don't know which Combat Routines and how to enable/disable the feature for them.
cheers,
