Hey guys, I'm wondering if I should get back into it after this last banwave. Can you guys please tell me what the current price of gold on US server is and if item drops are any better?

gold price going downhill fast.. cant even sell at .25 after next ban im out of this for good. no money to be made until a huge update ( like pvp or expansions )
 
Good bet would be to invest gold into some Amethysts for whenever they decide to open up PVP :). Life % will be boss during PVP patch. They're extremely cheap right now.

After Jay announce about pvp postponed the gold dropped 10 cents in 2h from stable(3 days at .36) to .25... it was not due to bots or anything but blizzard itself.

Pretty much till February (beta pvp is suppose to be released on 2-3rd week of January while official pvp on February ends). If there's no other delays.
There is atm a really small amount of real players online.

Jay also stated that pvp will not be released till all magics are working fully and balanced along all classes... something really silly, if they released the "pvp" as it was already. (Yup its done and ready to go but the test team didn't liked it as much as dota/league of legends) gold would have raise above .50 instead of going to shameless .25.
 
no ones buying gold that's why it's at the bottom .25 cents per mil.
 
lol so for you more experienced botters, have there been slums like this before? do you just sell what you can? transfer to mule and wait until an update for gold to increase?
 
this is rock bottom. to buy a pc or invest seriously in this now would be madness imo. Blizzard just said they scrapped all their work on PvP so far (minus duels) and went back to the drawing board. Tonnes of people who were playing and holding out for it have most likely quit till it comes out.

i have always muled items/gold/craft material to a mule every 24-34 hours from my bots, never bot on your mule/rmah and it wont/should not get banned. my mule is lvl 2 and ive sold $3000 worth of rmah on it and never got banned ( 5 months or so worth )

so per experience when 1.0.4 came out. just mule your items and wait for market to come back ( it will when more content comes out )

actually when you sell it at the RMAH for 0,25 you will only get 0,18/mil after fees. europe goldprice is down to 0,11?/mil on ebay - and thats before ebay and paypal charges you if you sell something on ebay. so you will get less then 0,10?/mil already.

botting this game is close to being worthless for now - compared to what we could get just few weeks/months ago. in a few weeks/months we will look back to this day and remember it as "good old times" as well.
 
Price of gold was increasing a bit, almost hit .40 in US... then plummeted to .25 in a couple days. Holidays are over and Jay Wilson's PvP blog post killed it. Game is worthless now except for botting items and hope you get BiS to put on RMAH. Even then you won't get much for it. Not even pay for electricity any more.
 
Took me 5 hours to sell 50m for .25cents/m lol...

And FckWarden, Your post made me laugh pretty hard!

sadly.. maybe the dueling will make people want to buy items to win.. maybe. but i know rings that i sold for 129.99 in early novemeber ( 6crit/40critdmg/70allres/160str/80vit ) or so now i cant sell for 24.99... i remember when i sold a leorics ring 30% exp for 139.99 back then.. now there 8.99...

Yes Blizzard has done nothing to stop the hemorrhaging: The entire game feels shorter than any single act in D2.

Hoping 1.0.7 is going to be plugged back to back with 1.1.0 here soon...
