Hi, Kittchikitty,

"Last time"... are you installing Honorbuddy on a new computer? Please toss a log and let us have a look. There are several failure modes that render this symptom, and we've no clue without seeing what's going on.

cheers,

Heres the log ><

Hi again, Kittchikitty, and thanks for the log.

I should've also ask what you've already tried. I assume you've done all the 'normal' things:
  • WoWclient in "windowed mode", and 32-bit
  • WoWclient running as Windoze admin
  • Honorbuddy running as Windoze admin
So, let's try things in this order...

If none of these fix your problem, please post a fresh log capturing all of the changes we've asked above, so we can make certain the failure mode hasn't changed.

cheers,
chinajade

if the windows updates dont do it, delete your settings folder.

I believe Mr. CodenameG is right about deleting the Honorbuddy/Settings directory. From your log:

[06:23:51.663 D] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Styx.Helpers.Settings.get_CharacterSettingsDirectory()

Very sorry about missing this the first time around.

make sure you restarted WoW after dx change

when you start both wow and honorbuddy right click and click "Run As Administrator" see if its a privledge issue causing the problem

at Honorbuddy.MainWindow.FindAndAttachToWoW(Boolean& found64Bits)

Why are you running WoW 64bit?

I've always done it that way, so idk what the problem is, but it isn't working still =/

are you running any kind of anti-virus or anything that could be sandboxing honor buddy from properly interacting with wow.
