hi, just like many others i recently got banned and lost my collector's edition... feels bad man. but besides that i saw a possible reason for the banning on the battle.net forums.
it may appear that when demon buddy was infected with a trojan some weeks ago the trojan changed the diablo 3 .exe and the game recognised this.
thus such a huge banwave.
any insight?

What do you mean DemonBuddy was infected with a trojan? Server side or client side? I never saw a flag from my anti-virus.

1) Why would you bought on a main account first off and for that matter a colelctor's edition?
2) The concern in regards to the trojan has been answered many, many times through the past week or two. There is absolutely no relation to the banwave and the trojan. The "trojan" was a keylogger.

the trojan was disassembled and was checked, it in no way touched the demonbuddy or diablo 3 executables it just used demonbuddy as a launchpad to install itself. thats all.

surely there should be a whitelist when it comes to accessing any of your servers, i.e block China/Russia etc.

im not in charge of that sort of stuff so i wouldnt be able to tell you how they got in, or even what server it is. but i can assure you that the problem will be fixed and that this wont happen again.
