Never mind, i got it to work. but now it crashes me to desktop... help?

I need a full log. But try to name the folder "ProfessionBuddy" instead of probud..

I am confused on which profile to load. I am horde, do i need to load the ones in the horde folder? If i load the 1-50, will the bot automatically load the next profile all the way up to 600?
Or for the full automatic i need to load the [PB][N] Mining & Herbalism - 1-600 - By Lbniese ?

Load "[PB][N] Mining & Herbalism - 1-600 - By Lbniese" with ProfessionBuddy. You load it in the Bot config panel.

Overall the profession profiles seem great. However, I am experiencing an issue with the Herb/Mining. I have on 2 different toons, started at level 1 herb/miner and they both do great with the herbing, but stop getting mining nodes around 75. Last night, I started a lvl 39 toon at level 1 in both. This morning I woke up to it at 173 herb and 75 miner. Realized it didnt train for some reason in mining, so I manually trained. I try to get it to catch up but selecting the 50 - 120 profile and it auto changes it to the 1-300 and then just goes back to herbing.

You are having issues with HonorBuddy not only the profile. Please re-install a fresh HonorBuddy.

Just wondering what the main difference between this and the packaged 1-600 in PB is.. I see a lot of love and I'd love to try it out, I'm just wondering what to expect

Profile has worked well so far. However, there appears to be a bad spot in it. Location: ~<1817, -717, 380> in deepholm. Bot keeps trying to fly up to a hotspot through a wall/ceiling

Woops, NM. Apparently an honorbuddy bug, possibly? I cleared cache and problem apparently went away


Side note:

Perhaps black list or remove the Pearl Fin village in Jade Forest? My guy kept fighting lvl 90 elites with 2.6mil hp for like 30 mins sraight there
Yeah, definitely remove this. The Furious Pearlfin Poolwatcher - NPC - World of Warcraft are infinite (instant) respawn, lvl 90 elites with 2.6 million HP. They literally cause the profile to come to a complete stop, unless there's some kind of running away class config loaded

To me it looks like your HonorBuddy is broken. Please re-download and install HonorBuddy, ProfessionBuddy and re-download the profile and then provide a log when you have tried to run it.

I thought maybe I would try again with a new toon starting at 1 with both herbing and mining skills. He gets stuck trying to learn archaeology, but can't cuz he is only level 12.

The bot stays in felwood and mines and herbs for ages. Mithril is now green and its just filling up my bags with bullshit. Wth. Your profiles are horrible at picking the right zones to level in. It stays in each zone for like 4 hours mining and herbing green level until it turns gray and goes back to orgrimmar to turn crap in.

Just wait until it gets to Ferelas! like holllllyyy shit. It sux.

Remove your mining pick, it causes trouble as the mining pick gives +10 in mining and confuses the bot.
Also... I can't really help you/fix bugs in the profile if you don't provide a full log.

This profile is awesome, leveled my herb+ mining with so much ease and afk'd all the time.

It only had some issues at first cause I had some items in bags and the profile tried to mail them.After I moved everything into my bank, and only left the mining pick (which the profile auto-aquired) it worked like a charm.

1 problem i notice for the 3rd time

horde toon
outside durotar
there is a small hut at coords 58.45
bot will always go there and gets stack
this is ofcourse from 1-50

3 toons all the same problem
and tried 3 times so far with this bot and it always go there
can u blacklist it plz?

Any chance you have the BC mining profile to move to blade edge mountain from mining level 325?
It takes way to long to level to 350 in hellfire peninsula with just fel ore.

EDIT: After about the 6th reinstall, it decided to work again.... I have changed nothing. This makes no sense to me, but it is up and running again......

Lbniese, pls read this is important. This problem happens to everybody i think, to save us all from 1-3 hours of researching for a solution in this thread u can please put this in ure guide on first post.

If for whatever reason can not start proffesionbuddy bot and get error messages, this is whats wrong; When u use the SVN here to put the Proffesionbuddy in the Honorbuddy/bots folder, make SURE it ISNT looking like this (honorbuddy/bots/proffesionbuddy/proffesionbuddy <---- that is WRONG and its not our fault, it comes like that by default)

Solution: go in to the first proffesionbuddy folder and COPY (not cut or anything else, ONLY copy) the folder and back a step to honorbuddy/bots/proffesionbuddy and PASTE it, it asks if u whant to "merge" the folders pres yes and now it works perfectly!!

yes, me, what i did was i moved the bot on another pc and now it works fine but i am monitoring it as we speak.
I woke up and found it crashed about 200 times, windows task bar was full, took me 2 mins to clear all the popups.
Every time i try to restart on the first pc it would still crash
When i started the bot on another pc problem went away.
30 skill points from 500.
Personally I am not really concerned about this, since this is the last time i am leveling mining/herb but yea, it kinda needs to be fixed.

Also on this PC i am running 2x bots with the exact same profile, not a single crash what so ever.
Maybe a windows patch issue? .NET? Cant really think of anything else.

Just jinxed my self. Same bot account crashed, the other one still going strong.

You can do this in order to have your relogger to actually restart HB

Disable “Windows is checking for a solution…” message after a program crashes - TechSpot Blog

In Windows Vista:
Go to Start > All Programs > Maintenance > Problem Reports and Solutions
In the Problem Reports and Solutions window, click Change settings > Advanced settings > Turn off problem settings

In Windows 7:
Click on the Action Center (white flag) icon on your taskbar > Change Action Center settings > Problem reporting settings (almost at the end) > Never check for solutions

It gets in there and it cant get out. Please Black list those areas to avoid waste time

Exact the same thing was going on here when i came to check upon the bot, i waited for over 1 hours, i thought it may wait for some herbs o minerals to respwn but he was just standing there!
I ran it out and i started again normally!

Trying this profile on 2 new accounts (Lv 80 Druid) from Skill 1. Until Skill 100 it runs nice but now 1 Bot is flying straight down to Uldum and stuck between rocks. and the 2nd bot dont switch the zone, he stays in the first zone and farm grey marked spots.

At the Jade Forest there is Gookin Outrunner Elite, just above Camp Nooka Nooka that stand near a Green Tea Leaf, and when bot is going down to herb it he aggros the level 90 Gooking Outrunner elite and everytime it kills the elite, the elite respawns instantly and he keeps killing it forever! I had to manually stop it fly away and start again!

At the Jade Forest there is Gookin Outrunner Elite, just above Camp Nooka Nooka that stand near a Green Tea Leaf, and when bot is going down to herb it he aggros the level 90 Gooking Outrunner elite and everytime it kills the elite, the elite respawns instantly and he keeps killing it forever! I had to manually stop it fly away and start again!
