although patterns may have something to do with it. Here are a couple clips from the Blizzard TOU

User Content.
“User Content” means any communications, images, sounds, and all the material and information that you upload or transmit through a Game client or the Service, or that other users upload or transmit, including without limitation any chat text. You hereby grant Blizzard a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, paid-up, non-exclusive license and right to reproduce, fix, adapt, modify, translate, reformat, create derivative works from, manufacture, introduce into circulation, publish, distribute, sell, license, sublicense, transfer, rent, lease, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, provide access to electronically, broadcast, communicate to the public by telecommunication, enter into computer memory, use, and practice such User Content as well as all modified and derivative works thereof. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, you hereby waive any moral rights you may have in any User Content.
Collection of Non-Personal Data.
Blizzard shall have the right to obtain data that cannot be used to identify you from your connection to the Service without any further notice to you. Certain Games playable on the Service include a tool that will allow your computer system to forward information to Blizzard in the event that the Game crashes. This tool will collect system and driver data from your computer system during the crash and forward a report containing that data to Blizzard.

and from thier Privacy statement:

Cookies are a feature of your Web browser that allows Web sites to transfer bits of information to your computer for record-keeping purposes. A cookie stored on your computer can be used to "remember" things like your password, or that you have already registered. This allows us to speed up your future activities, saving the time you would normally spend entering information such as your password or registration. In addition, Blizzard may use cookies to retrieve user information for promotional, marketing, or security purposes.

Blizzard and our third-party tracking service also employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. These clear gifs are not tied to personally identifiable information.

Well I have had 2 + mule survive so far will see once the water calms... But the rest are dead >_< lol... All good will startup again once the devs give the all clear... :D

Guessing since gold prices are holding steady they did not action Mule accounts which I imagine most of us use... That would lend support to what Hawk stated earlier that it was some form of Server Side Behavior detection.... If it was DB detection and linking of accounts than I would imaging our mules would be dead also... My 2 cents..

yeah they got me too, i think 6+, i'm still checking, glad they set off the trip wire tho, or all of them could have been cut off

Does this mean the ones who bought a years sub to Demonbuddy gets their account paused for time down on the program?

On a separate note this lends proof to the no amount of tinfoil will protect you theory's :D lol

Ironically the 2 that survived (so far) were run 24/7, power leveled by using other bots to run MP10, only quest that was completed on nm, hell, and inferno was 7.3 Kill Azmodan...

1/1 Banned here in Aus. Also another friend of mine banned. He only EVER botted for 2 sessions of about 8 hours. Both were after the last patch. We were running Warriors rest + Crypt of the ancients on Inferno MP3.

Paragon 25.

Was a fun ride. Honestly the botting was more fun than the game itself! Never activated RMAH, just botted my main to make it playable (I refuse to grind 3 hours a day to enjoy a game!).

Demonbuddy devs - you guys have been great. Very helpful in the past and I respect your deactivating the auth. Good look mobing forward :)

All the best guys!!! xp23 out

EDIT: All of you asking for refunds and credited time on year accounts - You KNOW botting is outright against Blizzard TOS. Don't give the devs a hard time over this down time. You would be bitching about lost accounts if they didn't deactivate the auth.
I lost my main, but I know very well that was the risk that I ran. After botting WOW and D3 for nearly 2 years with these guys, and only ever experienced 1 ban, I'd say they're doing a pretty damn good job for us. We didn't pay a fortune for our licences of DB, yet the devs work hard to get DB back up hours after a Blizzard patch breaks it. Honestly I don't know how they are able to remain so active on the once off payments that we made.

So just take it in stride ok?

Hi, amigos!
Sorry for bad english.

I condole with all suffered a loss. 1/1 in a ban. a bot worked by vmware. except demonbyddy of any programs wasn't started.
myself writen relogger under autoit was adjusted. are adjusted everyday task start/stop for the scheduler of tasks. all was started from a batfile:
diablo3 - launch
demonbuddy - profile xxxxxxx - autostart etc
It was amusing to watch the bot. That process of game is automated - are blizzard complicated game about a profit - and so to you automation of game process. Less than a month ran about. After a ban there was a question - why banned?
That that the analysis on the party of the server is so. But what he can analyze?

I assume that there is an analysis program and the analysis behavioural.

Program analysis.
1 . List of active processes and tasks? Demonbuddy.exe - it is visible. The decision - to rename and correct info in .exe the file. In other words - there shouldn't be fixed names of executed files and files of used libraries. Plus, need to minimize invasion of external processes into work of the started process of Diablo3.

Behavioural analysis.
1 . Analysis of a route of movement of the character? What decision - profiles with random routes. No repetitions of movements of the character on a route should be. Look - killed, respawn, a new route it is.
2 . Analysis of actions of the character? As quickly selects loot when distinguishes subjects - at once or in the city. As it is frequent relog in game.
3 . The analysis the period of activity of the character in day: as often in day it is active, in what time of day, whether the mode of repetition of activity within days is traced.

And, judging by that ban not at once, blizzard need time for the analysis. But all of them analyze.
Conclusion: developers need to give opportunity by the user to set a randomization of actions of the bot in the course of game:
- movement,
- loot selection

Good luck!

so one of my bot got banned from last ban wave a week ago, which was running repeated act3 alk runs with few act 3 champ hunts with BigRed, it went from 60 to 60+plvl 50 in 3 days with hell fire, 31% gem and 30% leoric with 2nd hellfire on follower, I only botted for 3 days and that account was banned. plugins were giles, radatoms, unstuckme.

the two accounts left since last week was running rrrix questing profiles with no item farm for a week both survived last nights ban. they run 24/7 questing from normal to inferno from lvl 1 to 60 with a few plvls with <5% supervision. plugins are giles, questing profile, unstackme, giles autoequiper til lvl 60.

all 3 run on the same machine, no vm, no ***, etc. after the 1st ban, i changed my modem, new ip, new mac, new hardware id, deleted blizzard error report folder, don't know if thats the saving grace.

Sooo less than 24 hours after I buy the bot its down, refund please

like i theorized before there could be a bug in db that continuously sends the same packet which leads to mass detection.

try some packet analysis \=

so. look.
blizzard simlpe cheked player's character traceroute on map. If it is same times by times - it is bot.
understand me?

aasv.png

it only happend to recent d3 patch 1.06 1.06a etc . before this i am safe 0/8 . after patch . first wave 12/12 and last night . . all my 8/8 banned ! i believe there is some detection for DB during this 1.06 patch .

if i were blizz i would just send some command from diablo3 to demonbuddy authen server. may be command to check about session invalid? i mean any command will do.

if pass, well they flag you.

since demonbuddy is going public anybody can connect to the server its not hard for them to find that

and the authen server is the most weak spot of demonbuddy since we all have to go through there. isn't it?

last night i have 8 bot running all of it have message session invalid and try to reconnect and 5 of them pass and go on killing business.

bot another 3 just cant pass the test and begin endlessly try to login to authen server.

and all my session are gone last night i even make a thread to ask for someone to fix the authen server.

and this morning i lost that 5 account,
but the 3 account that acting wired last night survive.
