thanks for the heads up - got banned while not botting - so I guess some logs of behaviouri is the only way
 
I got ban aswell.. But I've been botting from Launch to now.

I just wanted to say THANKS for oll the euro you have made me :D

And please fix DB so I can go back to botting :) I love botting, never gonna give you up ;)

I had 8 Demonhunters farming gold on Hell difficulty with my personal profile. High Pickup rate and 300% gf at least...
they ALL are good...
my 5 Barbs (incl my main account) got banned they where 22hours offline. I got banned 22:32 GMT+1
 
Was 2/4 When i saw my relogger trying to login 2 bots.. i closed all bots.. hour later im 3/4.. still have 1. for how long who knows..
 
1/1 banned. damn just started 2 days ago after like 1-2 week break..will try to appeal anyway.

Blizzard making crazy money from this...already ordered another copy of d3.

Its reports like this that make us think it can't be detection. However we do need to work out what has happened. Until we have a better idea, I won't post guesses.

Good news I think....unless their tech support can explicity see some very technical logs I think botters can get unbanned if they pressure enough.

I just logged into my gold farming account (not item farming on inferno) and he is still active.

My guess is more of behavior patterns, like Hawker suggested in the original post.
 
Isn't the most likely thing that happened is they have detected it. Instead of taking everyone in 1 big swing, and literally stopping hundreds of thousands of dollars being spent by botters to rebuy and recreate accounts to bot with.( Not to mention the money they are making from botters on the RMAH) They go through their list of detected accounts and ban some here ban some there, giving ppl false hope that they will not get caught so ppl keep saying its not detected and they keep making money. Which hey, DB without a doubt should not believe it is detected because not everyone is banned. But the fact that so many variables and different instances are being brought up about how ppl are being banned (Diff routines, diff profiles, random play times etc), how can you not think it is detected? Of course just my opinion.
 
happy days for me I guess, I can still log in to 9/9 accounts with no ban emails arriving.

ISboxer + YAR - Giles and buddystats only. All on one computer, no VM, no ***.

US server, botting gold on HC.
Selling items on each account on AH (although since im botting NM, not too much profits there)
Transferring to main account each day (around 60-80m) from each account.

Ran 20 hours a day unsupervised using YAR.

Botted after every maintenance (almost immediately) and patch. Always ran under 20 hours though.

PLEASE consider this.
Today Lost 7/7 (each in separate VM), 5 of them were Paragon 100 running act3 only from day 1, have survived all bans since the mass Sarkoth ban till now. The other 2 banned were not even running act3.
My brother however lost 1/4. The 3 bots that survived he stopped them before the new patch and didnt have time to xfer the items back on them and start afterwards, so basically they haven't been running for 10 days or so. These survived 3 bots are all 95+ paragon and have been running strong for 2+ months now. So I guess whatever got us, did it in the past 10 days after the patch. So I do not know if it's patterns or not but people are being banned for private scripts as well. Just my 2c and maybe some useful info.
