Help me build a PC that can run 8-10 bots

I don't know anything about hardware. Always bought my PC's and Desktops premade. Currently I'm botting on a MacBook Air with 3 accounts and making alot of profit, but It's pretty silly as this will the reduce the lifespan of my laptop. I'm planning on selling my MacBook Air and buy a desktop. (Or buy a desktop and keep my Air for work)

I will run Diablo 3 in 800x600 window all settings low (including the config settings 16bit, hardwareclass etc.) how much memory does each client + DB use? For example: If each bot would require 1GB memory then for 10 bots I would need atleast 10GB RAM right? I will definitely use a SSD seeing as I have one in my MacBook Air and I love it. How important is the processor and videocard? I don't plan on using the PC for playing or anything else. Just pure botting. So it must be as cheap as possible. I'm living in Europe so I don't have acces to sites like Newegg unfortunately.

Any help and/or pointer in the right direction is appreciated :)

My budget would be max 1000 euro. But definitely want it as cheap as possible :) Basically I want the best bangs out of my bucks (euros)
 
million is at 25cent, are you sure you want to waste that money?


i have an oc'ed i5 750, 16gb ram and 560ti... i can run 7 bots, maybe 8

I don't sell for money. I keep the gold for myself :)

Maybe sell some gold until I get the money back from the games but not anything serious.

What part of your pc is currently limiting you to run another bot? Processor? Your RAM seems fine.

dont need 1k euro. but you still could regret buying a computer, after you are banned.

My limit is my wallet, i could invest on more accounts but im not the "all in" kind of botter, i slowly add accounts when i start to see gains

Average usage is 10% ram and 10% cpu per d3+db on my computer. You may think "okay, then you could run 9 or 10" but well sometimes it jumps to a bit more so i want to leave the cpu some free space :) . Maybe i could push it for 8 if i didnt watch movies, skype or browse internet, but im okay with 7 anyways.

NOT SURE if video card is near its limit, i sometimes see small video glitches, but performance is the same with 4 bots or with 7

1000€ is overkill .. I guess you are used to Mac prices

The only thing you need is a strong CPU and 16GB+ of RAM,
a cheap but decent graphic card and a regluar 7200rpm HDD are enough (no need for SSD..). You should be able to build such a rig for less than 600€
 
You can also save money if you learn how to over clock properly as well.. If you're building the computer strictly for botting (and some side games), don't waste your money on the latest "up-to-date" components. Get 1-2 generations back and get your monies worth.

The whole point in saving money is building it yourself... newegg.com or tigerdirect.com -- you can get good deals on parts year round. If you don't want to build it yourself, check out a site like "ibuypower" or something similary to that. They're pretty decent bang for your buck.

Do you use ISboxer or do you copy/paste your d3 directory to run multiple instances of d3?

I live in Europe we don't have newegg here. I will check out that site. Thanks.
 
Multiple folder copies, i use YAR for window resizing, which should mean less cpu usage.
You can check prices on amazon, for example.
 
Im checking some sites out.

Is there a big difference between i5 and i7 processor? and is there a big difference between 16gb ram and 32gb ram.

I'm wondering how many bots I could run with 32gb ram :)
 
If you are not botting for ca$h... why waste all your money and time? Just buy the stuff on rmah, it will definitely be cheaper, faster and legit
 
windows professional or higher only versions that take over 16gb of ram...beware

Just asking again.
If its not for cash you could save all the trouble, money, power bills and time by just visiting RMAH, you could have the gear you want in 15 minutes, why do you keep doing questions?
I could run 5 with 8gb
