Is VMs serious needed if I want to avoid being banned?

I'm preparing for a new computer just for botting.
But as you konw, if I use Vms system the price would be much more expensive.
Is VMs serious needed?

it all depends on tight you're wearing your tinfoil hat

VMware gives you a false sense of security. All it does is make your bots run really shitty and very unstable. ISBoxer+YAR is what you should be looking into
 
It won't make you 100% ban proof but it helps. I have lost a lot of accounts but the one with VM live the longest.
 
Runnin all my bots on same ip, same comp. NO VMWare. Usually 20/7 and was not caught in the ban wave.

Thats just incorrect and tinfoil hat talk.
VM dosent help you with anything against getting banned or lower your chance getting banned.
 
Vm is a huge huge waste of time, ressources and money.

It can help when you are willing to sit 20 hours per day to monitor stuff like:

- Out of memory error
- Very low GPH
- High death per hour


People going for VMS are either:

1) Retarded paranoid nerds ( < 50 bots )
2) Professionals with funds

Assuming that 99.9% of people using DB are falling under category 1, one would better not give too much attention to w/e is being posted in these forums.

VMWare will help you, it gives you several Hardware IDs but as long as you bot over the same IP it's not worth anything, I think VMWare + several IPs will help.

And for those who say, VMWare is a waste of money, you know that VMWare is for free, for personal use?

Did you read my post carefully? i didnt say it helps against ban but it will make it harder for blizzaard to manual check ? Blizzard won't ban on IP but they will check the account with IP related. Even the bot revolutionize itself to bypass the way warden detect, why wouldn't Blizzard revolutionize they way they detect ban ? T Hey are a big corporation with a lot of money and resources after all.
