Hi all, I'm a 1st time poster here.

1st of all I'd like to extend a very grateful thankyou to the developers and guys that make these 3rd party tools. Its something my aged and feeble brain cant even begin to understand, your knowledge and sharing is unbelieveably appreciated....not just by me, but by many others also.

I'm a disabled guy who played legit to paragon lvl 100, got bored and was really beginning to feel the pinch. My countries benefit system means I live on the breadline, barely able to afford to put the heating on etc. I was using D3 as a way to supplement my income and was doing OK legit until the prices started crashing. As it stands now, making 100-200 euro a month through using demonbuddy, basically means I can live a way better standard of life. Its not a huge amount, but to me the difference it makes is massive.

Ok, so I have got the sycophantic shit out of the way. What I'd like to know is if I'm doing everything correct in terms of trying to avoid bans.

I have 3 computers. I have 3 separate demon buddy's, so not multi clienting. 1 is ran through my normal, regular IP, the other 2 are run on different computers, each using a pro.xy ( hotspotshield ). Because of the disability I dont work and can monitor or supervise my bots throughout the day. I relog every 1-2 hrs on each of them, I dont bot for more than 12hrs in any given 24hr period. And I often change what I'm doing, ie not always the Alkazier route, sometimes I'll do act 1 or 2, and I make sure I play for atleast 1 hr on each account legit each day.

All 3 of the accounts have separate paypal accounts associated to them, all linked to different cellphone numbers, I dont transfer and gold or items between the accounts.

Whilst I understand there is always a risk doing this and I wont mind if I get banned ( made enough cash so far and set it to one side in the advent I do get banned, I call it "dead money" in preparation for having to start over", do you think I'm minimising the risk of a ban as much as I can or can you think of anything further I could be doing.

Apologies if its in the wrong section, and once again my extended thanks to Ciggarc, Giles, the DB team etc. Sorry to be so foppy but it really has made a big difference in my quality of life.

My advice: Don't fuck around with PayPal. It's a whole different ballgame than the Blizzard User Agreement if you are caught breaking it. They will probably close all three of your PayPal accounts. So: I would recommend keeping minimal amounts of $ in each account. Withdraw the cash whenever you can to a bank account, or through another way.

How do you mean? I also have 3 PayPal accouts, is PayPal this strict? Should I resume with using only 1 PayPal account? (So only RMAH on 1 bot)

Hmm say what? Are you saying that paypal will punish you if they found out the gold comes from a bot? :S

Paypal permits a person to have only one account. I have gotten $500 limited before because I had an account in the US, and an account in Europe for when I travel.

How do they find out you have more then 1 account? They dont ask ID...
And they take away your money when they do find out?

Reading the way you play you should be about as safe for bans as your gonna get, don't ever expect your not going to get a ban at some point though. I'm sure you can make more than enough money out of your bots to be able to afford some new game keys though

The way i see it is like a lottery subscription with the odds in your favor, you never know what your going to make and in this case how much it's going to cost. However the way things are going i expect the average return on investment to stay quite nice for a while.

Thx for the replies guys. As added info, each of the 3 paypal accounts are registered at 3 different addresses using 3 different bank accounts ( pays to have friends at University who u trust )

And my initial post included the word *****. No idea why I had to edit and use pr.oxy. I can say shit but not that. Weird.

how did you know to alter the..name of a commonly used service to avoid the censor? It is not commonly censored on any site at all..so I'm used to it from other sites isn't valid ;-)

2 of the computers are 3 yrs + old. They are just regular upgrades over the years. I was earning good money on the rigs in the north sea so could afford good stuff. Atleast I had the good sense to pay off my mortgage before, which as such means I never saved much, and because I own my home I'm not entitled to much state benefits. And dont worry, I dont get offended at comments concerning my disability. I'm not the brightest person in the world, but I'm not mentally disabled thank god.....I just had the misfortune to be involved in a very nasty work related accident which means I cant work now, or for the foreseeable future. I have been since day 1 the eternal optimist and I'm sure at some point after rehabilitation I can go back to work.Albeit not in the same environment. This just allows me a few extra treats every week, that previously I couldn't even consider

You can have multiple d3 accoutns linked to one paypal account. I can vouch for this coz i was following this game pre-release. One of the blues personally responded to this question that was asked by some guy on the forum. Basically he said that his wife and child also want to play d3, and can they have their accounts linked to his paypal. Blue said they had no problems linking multiple d3 accounts to one paypal, so you should be fine.

I got my pay out. Paid the house off. And I also get 1/4 of the money I was earning for the rest of my life....But thats not enough to pay all the bills and eat etc. I rely heavily on a nurse who visits each day and they dont come cheap and atm, I cant function without her. Wont always be like this, but it has been for 24 months and having a few 100 euro more each month just swings the monetary balance back in my favour. So I can now do a few more of things I took for granted before. You often dont realise what you had until its gone.

I just choose to do it this way so that there are minimal links if any, between my accounts. I might be going a little OTT but I have always tried to do things slightly different from what a regular botter would do.

Symbiosis, here are couple of things you should watch out while botting. The number 1 most important thing you should watch out is games created/hour. One way to screw shits up big time is creating games every 30 sec due to some error. I can think of one thing that can cause that. Be careful not to delete your profiles folder for whatsoever reason, be it cleaning up your desktop (if you have them in some special folder on the desktop) or freeing up space. What will happen is the bot will create game, check for profile path and report file not found and leave the game in no more than 10 sec. After that is same story again - watch out for this one it is a nasty one.
Another thing - in my experience best class to bot is with a ww barb if you have the budget, i usually equip one for no more than 75m - reaching 110k dps unbuffed ~45k hp, lifesteal belt -very important, and the three passives ruthless, weapon master and superstition.
If you want any guides feel free to pm me i will answer all your questions. Also, if you are anywhere bellow 600 items/hour (plugins/trinity/txt files) you are doing smth wrong.

Oh also, if ever your bots go down, feel free to ask for help on this community, i know a lots of guys that requested some 20-30m gold loans and got them jsut for a easier start.

yep i wish i had a better method of not linking accounts this way. i made a thread about it but people don't seem interested in discussing it. it would get pretty expensive to have a cell phone for each account.
