Do you bot hardcore?

If so what paragon level are you? What is your gear like? What Act / MP do you bot on?

I'm currently a lvl 17 paragon. Gear's pretty decent but I'm scared to go higher than Act 1 MP0.

Armor 10785
Damage 23390.8

+1065 Vitality
+1455 Strength
Regenerates 3111 Life per Second
+623 Resistance to All Elements

You walk up and you had a DC, D3 Crash or DB crashed and you lose all..

Just make sure your char survive 10 seconds with a DC and you are fine
I have lost a couple of HC chars because I did not upgrade gear well enough (esp VIT) or I have used a fresh DB version with lags and crashes ...
Use a stable DB, have patience (bot lower levels with lower XP/h) and you got your 60 char ... now further chars I level manually following the bot with mp10 ;-)

Fuck all that, sorftcore is annoying enough and i dont even actually play it anymore. This game is a repetitive bore. HC would make me pull my hair out.

I've actually also been very tempted to run HC due to the much better economy. If I were in your shoes, I'd probably go out and ensure I can withstand 10 seconds of standing in the middle of a nasty elite pack to emulate a disconnect (as it will happen eventually). When you are confident on moving to a higher Act, I'd go out and test this a few times to make sure you are invincible. Your stats along with a nice block % may be enough to withstand it, but I'd go out and make sure first

I've wondered if a WD may be better off botting through disconnects due to pet distraction + spirit vessel. How long have you been botting the barb in Act1 MP0?
