DPS rotation bot?

Hi,

I recently purchased Honor Buddy and notice it has some really cool features. I was not able to get questing working well, so I just had it run BGs to 90 for me. But I know there are some dps rotation bots out there like lazy bot, or lazy raider, cant remember. Is honor buddy able to do this also? Would be really cool.
 
Of course. lazyraider or raidbot are the botbases you use but they dont do the combat for you. All combat is performed by your CC. So find a good CC in the CC section and load it up with Lazyraider. You pick the targets and move, the CC handles all spell rotations.
 
Lazyraider and raidbot as said above, are "IN" the bot if you scroll down to select BGbuddy and such.

also as said above, get different cc's. singular is pretty good for select clases, but mostly custom ones perform much better.

Fpsware and Tuan/Dunatank are some that i've had good experiences with and suggest

Ok thanks guys. So i downloaded a ass Rogue spec CC. Do I need to download lazy raider addon also? Sorry im sorta of newb, I am trying to search and read as much as I can but im a bit confused. also what bot do I use? Do I just select combat bot? I played with that a bit and it actually moves you around and can get you into a bit of trouble. I just want to be able to move and target, and let it do the max dps rotation. Thanks for the kind help guys.
 
no. first, as far as cc's, they must be named as the spec the CC is for

ex: I download restoration druid. the file was named Resto. if you go to routines->class specific -> druid you will see Restoration txt file. Delete that and change name of Resto to Restoration, paste it in and start HB-it will now use the "New" Restoration cc.

from what you wrote above, i presume you're trying to quest.
You select Questing from bot select when you start HB, load a profile (Kick's recommended), run it

and from what you're saying now, it's Lazyraider you're looking for.

First, load Lazyraider. (after you have selected and moved correct CC to the correct folder [in your case, Routines->class specific -> rogue "your spec"])
click bot configuration, make sure "Follow tank" and "auto target" are disabled.
press run.
it will use the current cc you have for your class and do ..uh..dps i guess. it will do what it does. now as far as "max" it isn't guaranteed as i've no experience in using rogues with the bot, but there are some cc's out there that let you customize what you want, when to use what at what time, etc. (for free version, i recommend FPSware).
or if you understand basic C+ you can go into xml file and mess around yourself.

huh? wut!? What have you been smoking mate?

A CC has it's own folder in the Routines folder. No overwriting, no "class specific", just it's own folder and it's own install method as can be found in the topic of that specific CC.

I know you only want to help but posting misinformation isn't going to help the TS.

as for you, Maybe you don't have Class specific folder, but mine does.

Why do you waste valuable oxygen writing one line sentence that doesn't help anyone?
 
I have a combat routine working already, so how do I get lazyraider? Isnt that just a wow addon? I will google for it, in mean time can you tell me after I have it running, what bot mode should Honor Buddy be running in? DungeonBuddy? I don't want it to move and play dungeon by itself, but instead just do a dps rotation.

I found lazyraider addon on wowinterface and installed the addon. Now how do I load up my CC in lazyraider? This is where I am a bit confused, I am not sure after installing the CC and lazyraider, how to actually load it all up. What options under Honor Buddy should I run with? DG buddy or combat buddy?

Ok I found the info which is what I was looking for, awesome. It was in plugins section, under feature botbase.
