Known correlation between hardware/client ID and bans?

For whatever reason, I'm having tons of problems getting D3 to work right with vmware. I've followed Shaliuno's guide on how to set it up, and had no problems until I try to run it. Some issue with Blizz authenticating any of my accounts.

How bad would it be to just make multiple copies of D3 and do the "- launch" trick to run my bots (I've only got 3, and one of them is my main, so I prob won't be running him much, if at all). Is it known that Blizz checks client ID's when they look for bots?

Thanks for the input, guys.

forget about VM with 3 clients.. you can start thinking about it with 20+

botting for 6 months now with the -luanch command, 6 bots on same pc, only one round of bans so far.

No not 24/7. I am behind a router, got 4 computers in my house, where 2 are used by the rest of my family. Boting for no more than 14 hours/day, usually 12. No other software used besides d3 client, db and teamviewer for remote control of the botting pc.

Hey guys just wanted to ask a simple question. So I'm botting 1 account now and I bot almost 20 hours a day. Would that get me banned?

Most likely yes.

Bullshit just stop with your ban myths it comes down to luck and only that you can bot 12h/day and get banned you can bot 24h/day and not get banned at all.
I've been botting for 6 month straight now with 3 bots 24/7 and zero bans. It comes down to dumb luck.

I call bullshit on that. Sure, it comes down to luck. But hey, luckily we got the ban report section so lets run down some numbers. Every time a "banwave" hits, 80-90% of the reported ban accounts are 24/7. Go ahead, check the last one that hit a week ago. Only one guy reported boting for 10-17 hours a day, all the rest were 24/7 bans.

Actually I think the people who get banned are the people who open 3 instances at the same time and bot 24/7 with the same ip addressed etc. I mean. I do have a friend who take turns playing a bard with his bro. One on the day shift and one on the night. They're practically playing 24/7 in a sense. Plus they are pretty big AH flippers too. Scenarios like these are bound to happen and I think blizzard wouldn't take the risk to offend their consumers like that.

24/7 dont be a pussy.

THIS.

You heard the man. Run the damn bot ALL DAY ERRRRYDAY or get out of the rap game.

Would Tupac have botted for 12 hours at a time and taken little pussy breaks?

Hashtag NOPENOPENOPE.

Rofl! Well, so far I've been botting (nearly) 24/7 with my main. But, I decided to up the ante and grab 2 more cd keys. If people have been getting away with just -launch and running 2-3 bots, then I'm not gonna screw around with all this hassle, either.

Well, genius, have you 'run down the numbers' on what percentage of the community runs 24/7? Cause I bet it's most of them. There will naturally be more 24/7 ban reports because there are more 24/7 botters. Your bitching and moaning all over the forums about 24/7 botters is so tiresome.
