Windows 8 wont attach

I have multiple computers with windows 8 that run honorbuddy fine.

Just got done building this one and cant get honorbuddy to attach.

I have run the prerequisite wizard, tried the latest stable and beta builds.

Just sits there and wont attach.

The wizard keeps trying to install C++ over and over but its already installed.

Still wont work.

Couldn't install the .net 4 as its Windows 8 and it says its already installed.
Uninstalled/reinstalled the C++ you listed. Restarted.
Running wow from the wow.exe inside the wow folder running it 32 bit with DX11.

I'm thinking it has something to do with the new Graphics drivers I am using with my AMD 7970,

AMD Catalyst

AMD CATALYST 12.11 BETA11 DRIVER

There are some fixes in the latest beta 11 for DX11 and WoW.

I will attach the log tonight, but everything in the log is posted here.
 
Same trouble here and the fact that ARelog crashes under Win8.
 
Yes OS is completely up to date.. I am going to uninstall the video drivers and reload and try again.
 
Attched now stuck on 'wait while initializes'

After reinstalling everything and restarting.

I started honorbuddy and waited about 3 mins it finally attached and got stuck on 'please wait a few seconds while honorbuddy initializes'

Hi, Brainysmurf, and thanks for hte log!

Try switching your WoWclient from DX11 to DX9. If that doesn't work, toss a new log, and let's have another look.

Doesn't Windows 8 require DX11 with honorbuddy?
 
Switched to DX9 doing the exact same thing, just hangs/locks up have to force it to close.
 
Just going reallllly slow.

I logged in today and it received the update but its still doing the samething.. it is just loading really slowly.

If I leave honorbuddy open for around 5-10 minutes it will eventually make it to loading flight paths.

What would cause it to load very very very slow?

Ouchie, yes indeed:

Its a long shot, but try switching the WoWclient to DX11. Remember to restart the WoWclient after doing so.

I have tried both DX9 and DX11, both windowed and fullscreen doesnt make a difference.
