[user guide] HOW TO SQUEEZE EXTRA PARAGON LEVELS
Hi
I am making this thread to help people new to DB to help optimise their XP gained per hour. Some or all of this post may appear obvious to you, but not everyone is as clever as you. Also, I have not seen a guide as explicit as this elsewhere. Experienced DB Runners, please post your personal tweaks that helped boost their xp.
Our experience to help you gain faster paragon levels:
I hope this can be useful to everyone. Please post your experiences on this thread if they vary, or are the same.
Thank you

1) Use 31% ruby on helm, Hellfire and Leoric ring if u can afford one.
2) Set gold pickup 100-300 range (up to the discretion of user). We ain't no poor group o' peasant farmers ye?
3) Set Items pickup to only lvl63 weap, lvl58+ Jewels (optional), Legendaries. Ignore the little peanuts and clutter like everything else like potions, gems, tomes, follower and recipes. this tweak makes a significant difference.
4) Aim to getting solid stats. A small gold investment on your gear can go along way. We recommend hitting at least 70k dps, 400+ AR, 30k+ HP, 5000 Armor.
5) Plan your gear to get at least 24% run speed. Examples: Lacunis (12%), Tyraels (12%), Innas pants (12%), all legendary boots (except for Iceclimbers). I find that Lacuins + Innas works well on a Barbarian.
6) Add some pickup radius to your gear, so that your character doesn't backtrack to pickup gold and health globes.
7)Start with Monster Power 0. Change to a higher Monster Power when you begin outgearing the enemies. You will know this has happened when you one-shot kill most mobs.
8) Get the enchanter follower. She's hot. Also, with a good skorn and gear, dont under estimate this part...she can kill onsight lots of while mobs if well geared.

- Also about followers, the hellfire ring and leorics on FOLLOWER gives you about 13% exp boost
I hope this can be useful to everyone. Please post your experiences on this thread if they vary, or are the same.
