Chat - webpage project (for the ppl with acces to webhosting of sime kind)

Hey guys, thinkin of makin a chatcatcher wich sende all chat and sends it to a mysql database. From there on u can catch it on a webpage wich of password protected (will put example of that also) and categorise etc so it gets showed in a nice way and even reply. This is easy for the ppl with msn restriction on work/school or something and is checkable on all modern phones. Well just lemme know what ya think of the idea.

I don't think HB will let you use an SQL/MySQL libary at all.

I used Cowstats the little I have used HB so far for leveling which has a section for whispers and such that you get and you can reply to them.

Finally I find some familiar territory. I dislike coding in C# (it's too overloaded for my taste as compared to C++). BUT, I do love some PHP/MySQL programming. If you want any help on this project (the web side of it), let me know and I can work with you in my free time.

Thanks for the great reply's will get started asap, gonna figure out the best way 2 get hb workin with mysql. As soon as ive figured that out im gonna make a pretty standart simple form for the webinteraction but all feel free 2 upgrade and modify

I already made this. Could send you the code if you want. Project is currently on hold.
Was going to make it a platform hosted like cowdude's with persistant tracking and graphs and stuff but I figured out it would cost too much to host this for a lot of ppl.

Ah that would be cool, prob save some time. Well ppl gotta have theyr own server cause im sadly not rich enough 2 host it all by myself haha. Maybe thatll change in the future but well see.

Not going the send the php and javascript because I might pick this project back up and it wouldn't be cool if you did exactly the same thing.

I'm using a key to log into my server, and keys are bound to usernames and password combinations, so everyone would have to set their own key and it would start logging to the site.
